@c300g really? My father bought the car and restored it in 1991 the year before I was born...he then sold it in 2002 when we could no longer keep it...I was so upset...so I saw it on ebay a couple times between the time he sold it, and October of 2008...it was when I saw it on ebay for the third time I checked the VIN and contacted the owner and it was infact my father's car, not another twin, but the actual physical car I rode in as an infant...so I bought it back and am so glad I did!
I got a letter from the Ottawa Police Cheif letting me keep it marked up as an Ottawa cruiser on the road, and keep everything uncovered and equiped on the car. I do not have to cover the lights or disconnect them. I just can't use them unless I am in a parade, at a show or on private property.
theres no law that can prevent you even from driving a full fledge police car they can challenge you but as long as the lights are not on or your not impersonating a police office theres fuckall they can do
Yeah, it's a collector car. Not a modern day PC, people can tell the difference. I drove a 1972 Cadillac Ambulance for 8 years with all the bells and whistles with no problem from the Police. You just don't abuse it!! The lights and sirens are for PR events and parades only!
cool blinking light on fender for intersections.this guy must be a plane clothes detective.nice police car.
