Let me break it down on the MJ vs Kobe for good. Kobe is a great basketball players, one of the best of all time. With that said Michael Jordan is the best of all time period. @IvanDos24 The reason the 63 point game was so great was that he was just in his second year and broke his foot earlier in the year and missed the last 64 games. He was just returning from his injury and to score that much in only his second game back against Larry Bird, Dennis Johnson, Kevin McHale, The Chief, Danny Ainge all trying to guard him in the PLAYOFFS (this is when teams play their hearts out and give it their everything), now that was special. And it's a playoff scoring record.

Today someone can just fake their way to get to the free throw line or take a charge. Back then players play hardball D in which a lot can get technicals in todays game.
