  • obviously the amount of time necessary for a gymnast to learn a kip varies a ton, but do you have an approximate amount of time that you carry each progression out for or do you move on to the next when you notice a gymnast mastered the previous progression?

  • i teach a girl at school and this will help her a whole lot thanks :)

  • ok my choach uses a drill where we have a tall mat like a block an we put put our hips on the block and we work on bringing our legs to the bar and hold

  • awesome videos , my 6 and 7 year old daughters are working on kips and this really helps them understand all the steps involved with kips . I loved the slow motion and repeats on certain positions . This has really helped . Please post more videos for other skills . You have a great way of breaking the process down !

    Yeah, it should work for everyone. Just be ready to do a little extra conditioning ;-)

  • @possefever any thing is possible (: , I though i would be to late to be a gymnast and i'm 12 almost 13, and it only took med roughly 5 months before i was promoted. Good luck
