As a Korean in a foreign country, I am pained to watch this video. The elderly couple looked so frightened, the woman who was being rammed about kept saying "please calm down, sir" to him. I am also pretty shocked by the lack of action from the surrounding koreans in the bus but I would say the guy was not really in a position to be negotiated with.

@starguard I'm norwegian/swedish and I went to seoul university on language exchange program. It was the best time of my life. Koreans were the nicest people I've ever met. As far as foreigners in korea, it depends who you are talking about. My experience was that if you are good looking person, they loved you and if you are not, they liked you less; korea seemed very biased towards how you looked and race didn't seem to make much difference even though if you are like blond like me,
@starguard they seem to favor you more. There are over 200,000 foreigners in korea and the number is going up. I'm not saying every korean likes foreigners, but vast majority do. If you go to itaewon which is seoul, that's where tons of foreigners hang out and everybody is having a good time and it's safe and fun place. i met my BF in korea and I love korea and it's people. I can only speak for myself. Koreans are great people. I don't know why anyone would say bad things about them.

@starguard I'm norwegian/swedish and I went to seoul university on language exchange program. It was the best time of my life. Koreans were the nicest people I've ever met. As far as foreigners in korea, it depends who you are talking about. My experience was that if you are good looking person, they loved you and if you are not, they liked you less; korea seemed very biased towards how you looked and race didn't seem to make much difference even though if you are like blond like me,

@starguard they seem to favor you more. There are over 200,000 foreigners in korea and the number is going up. I'm not saying every korean likes foreigners, but vast majority do. If you go to itaewon which is seoul, that's where tons of foreigners hang out and everybody is having a good time and it's safe and fun place. i met my BF in korea and I love korea and it's people. I can only speak for myself. Koreans are great people. I don't know why anyone would say bad things about them.

And I must say that this video hurt me so much because behavior like this is causing foreign countries to continue to have less respect for African Americans. I love to travel and experience different cultures and crap like this makes it hard for many of us who are good people to be accepted.
