i beg to differ on the vair not being a good .car (esp/ post 1963). yes, vairs had some items one needed to keep an eye on but, of all the cars ive ever worked on and drove, ile take the vair any day! my dad was kind enuff to share his love of these old girls with me (his daughter). we worked on the vans, coupes, 2 doors and 4! dad and i are spending our retirements this spring bringing back a 1963 ramp side p/up to life!! great power, handling and at least 30 mph! chevy had it rite back then!
I had an convertible for 3 years once. Had lots of fun, but riding around in a tent get old (cold, wet, hot...). Sell and use the money to finish the 64.
Miss the Corvair. Ralph Nader helped kill the Corvair with his book Coffin On Wheels. Wonder why he never tried to blast Volkswagon which had engine in the rear. Luckily a dealer loaned my father a Corvair when I was a kid, and I remember how great the car was... I always figured Nader killed off the car for political gain.
Nice filming and background music. Good video. I was there that weekend, but my car was not. Air cooled engines should be in lawn mowers and airplanes. OUCH!.
Ive seen one...wish I hadn't

Nice vid, I've taken a liking to these cars lately. If I'd ever get another "toy" car I'd probably go with a red convertible Corvair.

Good video. I liked the music. If I may correct one error, Corvair production ended in 69 not 70.
