This show was only made beacuase at the time laguna beach season 3 lacked ratings, but as this proved to have worse ratings then laguna beach so they didn't bother with the second season. I think the real reason the hills is now lacking the rating is because there is no luaren it's basically the same reason laguna beach got cut, beacuse lauren left for the hills.
