The man seen in Bojangles on the night of May 5, 1993, did not have a vehicle and was last seen walking on Missouri Street. Therefore, he could not have kidnapped Chris, Michael and Steve, held them and then dumped their bodies in the woods as supporters claim.

Marty King observed that the man was bleeding, which explains the blood he left behind when he left the restaurant. He appeared and disappeared before 9:00 p.m. on the night of May 5, 1993.

Therefore, if he did kill the boys, they would have to have been killed prior to Mr. Bojangles' appearance on Missouri Street on the night of May 5, 1993.

As for the loss of the blood sample taken from the restaurant, it was actually the best thing to happen for Echols, Baldwin and Miskelley. Had it been examined and eliminated the incident, the defense would not have been able to bring it up, nor would they have been able to use the incident to criticize the WMPD.

No offence but your police department really screwed this up!!! I mean how the hell did they lose vital DNA from a report of a man covered in blood/ mud on the day of the muderder. This is totally beyond me!

I do know one thing - these kids were murdered in the most savage way - and it would take at least 2 people to do this...so I do not think the Bejangles guy is releant anyway. One man could not apprehend and kill three healthy kids....they would run away immediately. Had to be 2..mayb 3!!

It may take more than one person to commit this crime. Mr. Bojangles does hold relevance. People who were searching for the missing children did report hearing gun shots. It is possible that Mr. Bojangles had a sudden attack of concience, tried to back out, and got shot by his cohorts as he tried to leave. crime scene was only 3 miles down the bayou from bojangles.

Whoever did this was close to atleast 1 of the children, it definitely isn't some kids doing it just for fun one random night. Look at Columbine, did those kids take their time shooting people? Did they stop and cut their balls out before shooting them? No. Only when the killer has either watched the victim for some time, is a veteran serial killer, or is close to the victim.

@Farmboy7899 It is not possible for you to know the WM3 were not involved in the murders, but you can feel that were not, or think they were not, but unless you were standing there and watching you can not KNOW they did not. Lack of evidence is not evidence of a negative. You can argue that there is insufficient evidence to convict but this is far from saying that they could not have committed the crime.

The guy could be a drunk who fell to the ground, cut himself and was dazed. So this one man subdued three eight year olds and killed them then does not have the mental capacity to tell the difference between a men and women bathroom sign? Give me a break.

@edteach2u Once again, you are thinking one dimensionally on this subject. Mr. Bojangles may or may not have been involved, but if in fact he was...he damn sure got away with it, didn't he? If the WMPD can pin the murders on the WM3 based on clothing fibers (you could find clothing fibers in MY house TODAY that would be "consistent"), then I can say a man covered in mud and blood less than half a mile away from the crime scene in the right time frame is probable cause.

@edteach2u Did I ever say that Mr. Bojangles is exactly who did it? No I did not. What I DID say is that he could have been involved and that the police botched the case by conveniently "losing" the blood scrapings and not doing an extensive investigation into this guy. I never said he did it alone (if he was involved). There are any number of reasons he might have been there...anything from aiding in the crime to being a passer by that got shot by the culprit(s).

@Farmboy7899 The theory of him being shot stems from what is called "the manhole theory" in which I read on a blog by JMB. It is a fact that 2 of the teenagers who were searching for the missing children that night reported that they heard a gunshot followed by loud splashes while they were in the woods.

Quick thought:

The corrupt cops are being investigated, they are all on a first name basis with the fathers of the victims. Word gets out of their corruption and perhaps a "message" needs to be sent to those that know what's going on?

There were I believe 26 calls to the WMPD on 5-5-93 in & around the area where the boys lived and the crime scene.

A black man was seen around the woods during the time of the murders.

Then this guy shows up at bloddy & muddy.

Another stellar summation, farmboy. I always believed that the exclusion of 'Mr. Bojangles' as a suspect was one of the worst errors that the West Memphis police committed. Jut the fact of his presence so close to the crime scene should have cast reasonable doubt on the WM3.

Oh, for you other posters, farmboy isn't eating or chewing gum (although he could be chewing gum in some of his segments). He is either chewing tobacco or using snuff, the soda bottle spitoon is a dead giveaway.

It could have been a random knife that anyone lost, or it could have been planted. Who knows. All I am confident about is that it was not Jason's. I wouldn't put it past the WMPD to plant things.

Jason's mom found the knife in Jason's room (LONG before the murders) and threw it in the pond. It was the only thing the WMPD could find to pin the murders on them so they concocted the whole "murder weapon" nonsense.

The state knows who murdered those boys (and more importantly, who DIDN'T) but they are going to stick to their story until the end....

Michael Moore was the first body discoverd by Det. Mike Allen. Apon finding the first Body, Juvenile Probation officer Steve Jones is heard in the Video Footage saying "Looks like Damien finally killed somebody". So Damien was a suspect before an investigation even started.
