@AbirZenith i find it to be impossible, considering the max amount of bp you can get is basically under 100bp....ASSUMING he got 100bp each game then even that ridiculous total would only equal 9100bp (100 X 91 games)....something is wrong with that "total" of 91

This is sort of a glitch. It happened to me in SF4, and it's the same in SSF4.

Long story short: My original launch PS3 died, and my SF4 went with it. All BP & PP is server-sided, but matches played is located in the save data, I guess.

If your save data is erased (or you erase it) and then start a new game over it, the matches played online resets to 0.

Yeah, but you'll lose everything - unlocked colors, taunts, arcade high scores, etc, but your matches played will indeed reset back to 0 the next ranked match you play online.
