@doorman360 There's throw invincibility in general on normal wake-up in KOF XIII. According to a recently translated Arcadia article brought to my attention in an SRK thread, there is 11 frames of throw invul on wake-up. But, there is 0 when coming up from a quick rise. Then 6 frames of invul after a hit reset.
@glenburg89 Pure accident. When I realized that the dudes were dancing to the music I chose I was all, "Whoa, sweet." Then I let it rock. I just happened to get nighttime Esaka because I just wanted the Esaka stage for both Benimaru and Daimon.
My favorite thing about this video was how you demonstrated how to properly utilize each trick and show how how each one can be countered. It's all fair game.
Hey Laban. You have a few inaccuracies. Shining Crystal Bit is totally safejumpable in XIII (wasn't in older games though). Also I don't think throw invincibility on wakeup is longer than it used to be. Maybe throw range got smaller? One thing I know for sure is that the throw invincibility does _not_ differ per character. Other than that: good stuff.
@sirphoenixnl Thanks yo. Don't want to re-render my video on my crummy laptop. Added an annotation correcting the error. I was a bit iffy on the safe-hop ability on it.
@claudioleo328 Well it's no longer a bug when it's intentional now. Originally it was. There wasn't uniform Alternate Guard in KOF XIII Arcade and certain characters didn't even have it. It returned in KOF XIII Console as an intentional design and function of the game.
Keep these awesome tutorials coming man. Props for the Jojo's reference :D
