Nice choice of word there Mr Educated. Next time if you want to seem smart, don't insult the people you're trying to argue with. Having played the piano for ~11-12 years, I think I would know perhaps a *little* bit more about it than you would. Fool.

And true, it's not a warmup in terms of a technical, playing warmup. It's a physical routine.warmup he's doing, and it took like a minute. Viewers on youtube don't want to watch that much suprfluous crap, we want to see the playing.

And as you can see by my comment rating compared to yours, it's about +3 vs -1. Obviously more people agree with me than they do with you.

If he's in any type of good competition, then the adjudicators and managers of then competition would have made it so he had spare time BEFORE he went on stage to fix up his stool and all that, not right before he's about to play.

And he probably would have played just as good too - he sounds accomplished enough.
