It takes a strong woman to admit that she needed help. I am glad she did that and I am glad that God didn't take her when she wanted to go. Now she has to learn how to deal with the family by saying "no" and learn to affirm herself and take care of herself! She is off to a good start and I pray that she remembers all that God has brought her through the next time the pressure gets high. I agree, I battled depression for over 10 yrs. I'm 27 I wanted to end my life, was very close God helped me through it. People who have not gone through it don't understand. Sometimes the pain gets so heavy you just want it to end.

Fantasia is amazing, i loved her from day one, when she walked in and tried out for american idol! it makes me sad that this has happen to her, she is my hero, she was my hero when she was on idol and still to this day she will be my idol, i would do anything to meet her, she has touched me in sooo many way, i love her sooo much! and tasia will be back ! :)

I am saddened to see such LACK of compassion & empathy on here, especially from young people. Live a little while longer and you'll see (even if you're not in show biz) that life is easier SAID than DONE. You'll want someone to show some compassion & love for you and I hope you receive it even if you haven't shown it yourself. Many comments here are precisely what Fantasia is talking about... far too much HATE & JUDGEMENT. I'm terrified 4 the next generation who really seem heartless & cold.
