  • Please check this song out to!

    /watch?v=vmgKIIuAm_c

    youtube it

  • twilight fits well with this....

  • "YOU.

Going around, with your botox smiles, as if there isn't a worry in the world. As if you aren't loosing it. As if we haven't already all lost it, and are slipping down. Fast. I made a fool of myself because of you! AND I made an even bigger fool of myself when I wanted my revenge. I blame you. You just couldn't let me live the way I like, do you? Smarmy little sod.

How could you?! You've gave our souls to those BASTARDS to live in your dreams! And you call ME devious!

    ...You sicken me..."

  • Goosebumps

  • so beautifully painful

  • poop?

  • my balls are tingling.

  • i cant maintaain a boner to this song. its too epic.

  • Great song, horrible audio quality.

  • that song is the reason why i said i'd rather be blind than deaf.

  • I feel horrible for people who are deaf. They can't enjoy this....

  • So beautiful.

  • I feel really sorry for people who can't let themselves enjoy this music. I don't see how anyone who actually enjoys listening to music (not just crappy repetitive lyrics) can not enjoy stuff like Ghosts I-IV. I listen to everything from classical music to metal, hip-hop, older punk rock, industrial, and electronic music and I love this stuff.

  • I don't know why I keep playing this.

  • ... they just don't have the luck (culture?) to listen music like this one or others...

  • wow dude, don't be so categoric... I mean, I listen to many kinds of music, even those you quoted, and I don't think it means I'm a douche-bag. If I listen to pure techno music or even hip hop, it's not to feel cool or else, it's just because I feel the music and that it gives me strong emotions and feelings... and I think it's the same for every person, even those that don't use to listen to (good) music and that like to listen to shitty music like what we usually hear on radio or tv...

  • good song never the less

  • am i the only one who is thinking minecraft?

  • @EgoOmnesRenati dont get my wrong, great song

  • It's like my soul is melting....

  • Who can't love this music ?

  • @thepote Unluckily ,People who listens to other music and become with the Music. Like for Example if people listen to death metal so much times that some of the people become Metal-loving Flockheads or Emos . Other's who listens to Crappy yet simple techno music and actually likes it Becomes Dj Jack-offs. (which is people hwo shave a piece of their hair or People hwo dont wear there pants proplaly or any thing like that.)

  • @thepote But However,Is People hwo want to Relax for a bit,or people who are Holyish or want to be happy or people listens to this. And that Music is Beautiful,But the problem is the people who don't actually Care about sad music and thinks there so cool or strong or any bullnoob like that while there not and yet there Douche-Bags.

  • This music kind of reminds me of being in one of those dramatic short films where there's no words, just awesome music to vividly describe the whole story. It's like I could watch the movie even if I was blind or something.

  • One word and three syllables to describe this song: BEAU-TI-FUL

  • que wena music..

  • @Laitharex If you're serious; revenge won't help, you need to learn how to not have your happiness rely on one person. You need to learn how to be an individual.

  • did the album worth the buy

  • worst quality nin song ive ever heard on youtube, delete this shit man

  • @Chubachus you should delete your account for saying some stupidity like that jerk

  • @999alex9991 you fucking dumbass, what I mean is that it sounds like the recording was made from a recording of a recording which was made from a recording (etc) ,sounds like shit, thus doesn't do nin justice.

  • @Chubachus blablabla, but still useless even after 2 weeks, i'm always right

  • BCEDBCEDBCEDBCEDBCEDBCEDBCEDBCEDBCEDBCEDBCEDBCEDBCEDBCEDBCEDBCEDBCEDBCEDBCEDBCEDBCEDBCEDBCEDBCEDBCEDBCEDBCEDBCEDBCEDBCEDBCEDBCEDBCEDBCEDBCEDBCEDBCEDBCEDBCEDBCEDBCEDBCEDBCEDBCEDBCEDBCEDBCEDBCEDBCEDBCEDBCEDBCEDBCEDBCEDBCEDBCEDBCEDBCEDBCEDBCEDBCEDBCEDBCEDBCEDBCEDBCEDBCEDBCEDBCEDBCEDBCEDBCED

  • @SorBill07 I LIKE CAP LOCKS AND WHORING MYSELF OUT !!!!!!!

  • @SorBill07 First, stop typing in all caps. Second, nobody wants you to ruin such a perfect song with bad lyrics and singing. Third, you sound like a complete bitch, practically saying "this song should've never been released without vocals." Also this 'THERE IS NO YOU THERE IS ONLY ME' business makes you seem like an annoying egocentric.

    Which you probably are anyway.

  • @EbiNoUmmei and respect a thing that you don't know

  • @SorBill07 dont even try

  • @SorBill07 Shut The Fuck Up

  • if feel like this tune has been used in crysis 2.....is it true?

  • @3stonesdown maybe...i thought cry2's music was like a blockbuster version of this style. think some french guy composed themusic for cry2

  • is this tune used in crysis 2??? .....or m i the only one who feels it has been used?

  • This makes me think of a lake with mist and a waterfall coming to the center from the middle of the sky.....

  • I just picked it up at a pawn shop for 2 bucks. :P

  • begging reminds me of Minecraft... o___0

  • I'll fucken say it. Trent Reznor is to music as Edgar Allen Poe was to poetry.

  • @KnowThyself7 ........

  • @KnowThyself7 Nooo don't say that .. Edgar Allen Poe is the most over-hyped poet out there next to Shakespeare! If we're comparing him to poets, I'd rather think of Trent as d.a.levy with a happy ending. Misunderstood, often un-appreciated, but to those that know and love his work, a genius and a visionary.

  • @MimzysMomzy Because it's not like Edgar Allen Poe helped to create the modern myster, American Gothic or helped to cement science fiction.....oh wait.

  • @bcolby89 I said he was the most over-hyped POET, I said nothing about his writing, or the effects he has had on modern literature. His poetry was rather terrible, compared to some true artists of poetry.

  • @KnowThyself7 Or, more appropriately, when comparing Trent to poets, we could say Trent Reznor is the Trent Reznor of poetry, since he's a poet in his own right.

  • @KnowThyself7 listen to some paco de lucia.

  • @KnowThyself7 ... A FUCKIN MEN

  • @KnowThyself7 WELL FUCKING SAID!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @KnowThyself7 Hell Yes!

  • @KnowThyself7 As Edgar Allan Poe is my favorite author hands down, of all time. Trent Reznor is one of my favorite musical artists. Easily top 5, no probably top 3. I can't agree with you more! Most Edgar Allan Poe references make me sick given that I love his works. But music world without Trent Reznor would be like literature without words.

  • @KnowThyself7 HELL TO THE MOTHERFUCK YES. <333

  • @KnowThyself7 well said

  • i played this song on halloween night while kids in costumes walked by. i had a table set up and one candle lit in a skull, and i put sharpie lines all over myself to look pyscho. the final effect was priceless. kids of all ages shit their pants. they were so fucking scared, haha.

  • i hope when i die my soul just floats threw space past stars and other planets while this track is playing constantly.

  • @SpaCeTravelin

I truly feel the same way when I hear this song, too. Sometimes I can also imagine myself just floating down a stream that leads to the Florida Everglades since I live down here in Florida. This is one beautiful composition Trent put together to start this double CD off.

  • @SpaCeTravelin what i think when im High, Like Now :P

  • @SpaCeTravelin bring me too

  • @SpaCeTravelin But how will you be able to hear it without your ears being rigged up to your brain??

  • @clearviewmind im sure the "soul" wouldn't be affected by space as it's not your physical body ?.. idunno, i forgot i even wrote that.. stop lookin at the big picture bro lol.

  • My favourite Ghosts track. Makes me think of a city at dusk with the walls too tight, traffic passing less and less, feeling completely alone... NIN does that.

  • NINE INCH NAILS---''1 GHOSTS I''

  • the earlier ghosts sound more gritty, more simple, and more harsh, and the later ghosts sound more complex, don't you think?

  • When I first heard the ghosts, I didn't like any of them except 24. Then I listened to 26 and I liked that one too, and then 9, and I kept listening to them, and now I like them all.

  • @ExpertiseGamer so true

  • also, is it just me, or is the mega bass register of this song purposefully tuned just a little off to accentuate that beautiful underbelly of dissonance and disturbance this song has? (i have zero musical aural skills, so i leave it to the nameless commentators of the youtube universe to confirm/put to rest my hunches)

  • is the final track (36 ghosts IV) a direct inversion of this track (minus the synth, obv)?

  • can some this albums not on itunes?? i really want this song!!

  • @MalibuBarbieLives of course its not on itunes, it would ruin the point of the entire album. it gives emphasis on personalization and physical meaning. on itunes it wouldnt be as it should be, get up and go buy the album where you can find it, or you can order it off the nine inch nails official site

  • Has to be one of my favorite songs of all time.

  • are all the different pics you have for the vids, the different ones used for each EP?

if so thats really cool. and thank for the uploads! :)

  • if you enjoy ghosts you should give my song a listen:

    watch?v=FqphyhJuS8Y

  • The best part o listening to this album is listening to it the first time. So refreshing...

  • thats why i love NIN...

this feelings full of madness, anger and unglyness...

  • this is my favorite of the ghosts songs, is there one that's a bit like this? not really familiar with NIN

  • Is nine inch nails your passion? :P Or is fruit, I know nin is my passion

  • Strange but interesting track, probably the best on the album

  • depressive ;/

  • Pure beauty :')

  • when this came out my girlfriend fucked me and broke up with me

  • I love this music

  • the social network has music from this album. i knew it was only a matter of time before songs off this album started making their way to film.

  • @blklightning330 I almost shouted FUCKING WIN when I heard them :)

  • I'm making a post-apocalyptic halloween costume to this album :)

  • i love this music !!

  • Wow, he's really good at ambient music.

  • This album is by far some of the best acid trip music i have ever herd. Trent blew my mind with this!! couldnt have done a better job!

  • As soon as i Get My camcorder im going to upload Me playing this on keyboard for any of you interested in wanting to know how to play. As for the synthesizer parts i guess i could do 4 side by side videos timed perfectly lol

  • I want to die. Im writing in my suicide note to play this at my funeral.

  • @Guitargod8887

    your a cheerful one.

  • Cant find this bloody album anywhere.

  • @Spaced20 ghosts dot nin dot com/main/order_options

To the right, free download first 9 songs. Used to be all of them though. D: I got mine off the torrent Trent uploaded cough cough.

  • @mypassionfruit lol i like the addition of the cough cough :P

  • @mypassionfruit Haha, so did I, but I recommend donating or something. Trent Reznor is one of the few truly talented and masterful popular musicians these days. This album in particular is just mindblowingly amazing.

  • @mypassionfruit I got it from de library :3

  • @mypassionfruit

at least the entire album is on youtube audioswap.

which is like, the best thing ever.

  • @Spaced20 you can download it on amazon for $5.

  • @Spaced20 i bought ghost 1-4 at a music store that went out of buisness a fe wweeks after! :D

  • best part is, its on audioswap

  • wouldn't this just be perfect for the soundtrack of a world war II film, airraid siren and all.

  • GAWD I feel embarrassed for people calling this a "song". This PIECE is on par with Erik Satie, and is a timeless classic no matter how unheard it is. I don't care what anyone says about Nine Inch Nails. This piece really makes Reznor shine. Such brilliance!

  • @ANONONTHEJEWTUBE yes very true. these songs make u wonder about ur life sometimes, and its so beautiful

  • @opking44 Mate, call them pieces.

  • @ANONONTHEJEWTUBE - how did you find a way to be right, support the comments of all the FANS commenting here, and still manage to be a TWAT?

  • @austin4x I've got to be honest, I don't know what I was thinking, but thanks for bringing me back here for a 5 month old comment.

  • Imagine if Alfred Hitchcock directed a Nine Inch Nails music video.

  • not to sound rude but I don't really like their usual music, but these no-lyric melodies I really enjoy a lot...weird o.O

  • @SlayerOfTheColossi - ive always loved the instrumental stuff he tends to throw in nails albums. Just Like You Imagined off The Fragile has always been one of my favorite NIN songs.

  • Awsome music!

  • I love to drive my truck to the top of my mountain in vegas and just play this album as loud as possible and just escape I love the way music makes life worth while i love beautiful artist like trent i hope to fallow in his foot steps

  • i got a question for people who know more about this than me.... Is There anyplace i can get this Cd for under $300???? i looked all over the place in my town and the cheapest it is is $200

  • @TheWonderWaffle9000 ummm ha the cd is only like 20bucks tops and well worth it

  • nine inch nails always seems to sound like a film score that doesnt exist to the most sublime film ever made

  • nine inch nails always seems its a film score to a movie that doesnt exist

  • @TheLosthigh

    the best coment ever+

  • Curse Youtube's terrible quality. This song's quality is crap because of it.

  • in the nin official page, you can dowload the GHOSTS I album for free, thats really cool of them. but...

where can i download the other 3 albums? there are 3 more albums right? ghosts II , III, and IV?

  • This song describes lying in your bed on a rainy day. Everything around you is turned off, no PC on, no TV. Just you, in grey gloomy weather. I love it. <3

  • love it... you might find what i've done with ghosts 14 interesting =]

  • Reznor is da man!

  • RIP Dylan

  • it's amazing

    its errie, yet so soothing...

  • The instrumental "ghosts" album is the best music NIN has ever put together.

  • i love this music (L)

  • there is an excellent terence mckenna psy-visual on you tube called: Collective Skin of Our Culture

  • what amazing music..am a new 9in Nails fan now...see the vid for Victorian seances which uses this music...really great

  • this piece is incredible

  • I only recently started listening to nine inch nails. I thought all his albums have the most unique and brilliant concepts ever.

I can't even describe how fascinated i am of the idea not to name any of your songs.

  • amen to that

  • @mypassionfruit I was shocked to hear a calm music to something regarded as "heavy metal" or "rock".... just suprise completely!

  • @BladeLemonMilk check out bucketheads "in search of" album.

  • @BladeLemonMilk

Yeah the only real point I see in naming songs is for easy reference.

  • @BladeLemonMilk It's hardly a new idea - Brian Eno did it on his first Ambient album in the late '70s, plenty of experimental, noise, ambient etc. bands have done it...this sounds great nontheless - I need to catch up with NIN - the latest album by them I own is with teeth, though I have heard Year Zero (which started off well then got a bit boring from what I remember) and the Slip. I definitely need to get this album

  • @jesterheadflame666 Ambient music= Boards of Canada

  • @BladeLemonMilk Aphex Twin... Listen to Aphex Twin. Look up Melodies from Mars. He pisses off record companies making songs with no name but "Track #".. It's hilarious, but he's a musical genius.

  • @BladeLemonMilk but all of the songs have names. Love this album none-the-less.

  • @BladeLemonMilk Not naming the songs give the listener the ability to put a name to it, or just know each song by its unique sound.

  • @BladeLemonMilk You Sir, have my respect.

  • @BladeLemonMilk

I'm guessing Trent cribbed the idea from Aphex Twin, who released a double album of instrumental music, Selected Ambient Works Volume II, without any song titles.

  • @BladeLemonMilk Not naming songs is not a orgininal or new idea. Whats is truly fascinating is that you are so ignorant to believe it is.

  • this song is so creepy.

  • this is such a sad song. So Moving.

  • so weird and beautiful!

  • something incredible..

  • what a curious and haunting experience it would be to make love to this i wonder

  • If I could ask one thing from God, it would be to truly comprehend and see the universe in its infinate size

  • I'm afraid that's impossible.

You can't see or comprehend something that is truly infinite.

  • @Charodeiski Not as a human you can't.

  • @Charodeiski - ahh but we dont ACTUALLY know that it IS infinite now do we? :)
