  • boy do you pander to black sterotypes about physical fitness. the problem is junk food. there are fat sad and fat happy people. and youre so sure whats thick and hats too fat. youre one mixed up fool. the reason native africans are slim is no food. when bodies live on little then get food they blow up huge. its biological and some love it. man you are a square.

  • I wish he would take the cussing out but otherwise it's good and true. It should cover obesity across races because it is not only true for Blacks.

  • THANK YOU!!!

  • "Broke Men Like Big Women"

  • Wow! Favorite EVER! as a person who has lost 100 lbs in 2011 and plan on losing even more this year this just gave me life! this was a booster for sure!

  • whaat been fat dont give u sickle cell learn it first ok is a blood problem please

  • Whenever I feel lik giving up on weightloss I watch this. It puts it all back into perspective for me. Wonderfully made & spoken. Thank you.

  • This peom is the TRUTH. I appreciate the knowledge.

  • blessed brothas. thank you. you produced both tears of laughter & pain in my heart with your supremely clever realism. thank you for your hood dissertation on the obesity pandemic that is genocide for too many true nubian earth mothers. real talk

  • 48 fat chicks pressed the dislike button

  • Amazing.

  • Nigga I love you no homo.

  • Loved this. I give it two snaps and a circle.

  • Truth!!!

  • Fat Chicks Rock!

  • 3:19 "What type of shit it THAT!!!" lolololol bruh you had me dyin, and as a previously overweight black woman I totally agree - this ish is the truth straight no chaser :)

  • I am not surprised to read so many excuses in the comments. Vegetables are inexpensive, and the man did not force you to eat fast food. Doing the right thing is a struggle for anyone, and anything is harder when you are poor, and you options are limited. Remember this before you make another excuse, you can do whatever you like to improve your life, the only thing stopping you is...YOU!

  • great video excellent presentation. thanks

  • RIGHT ON BROTHER! BLACK POWER!!!

    Im feelin this video ....

Fuck Fat, weave and creamy crack!

    Peace bro!

  • I HOPE EVERYONE IS AWARE BEING OBESE DOESNT MEAN YOU DONT WORK OUT. I am an obese 15 year old girl and i work out almost everyday. I eat like (actually better) than the average teen girl and i exercise more. Obese means nothing. Most of my extra weight is muscle, so while youre eating that cheeseburger talking about overweight women, think about that. Men can lose weight a lot easier than women.

  • @kelseythomasson stop kidding urself sista. Obesity means ALOT. Drop the excuses and grab life by the horns. Your life is your own to be accountable for.

  • @nothighleftbehind And so is yours. Didn't ask for the input.

  • @nothighleftbehind dont post it publicly on facebook if you dont want other's input - again - accountability :)

  • Obesity has NOTHING to do with Sickle Cell. Get your information right.

  • @Kengikat i know right his stupid sickle cell ia a blood ilness

  • And black people who love this and think it's a laugh you're stupid to think that. Yeah being in shape and working out is good but it seems like this guy has offended his own race.

  • @SpeakMyMind500 How many more times does he have to put "I'm not saying this to offend" in the video for you to think he's just being real and he isn't insulting his own culture? Did you even listen to this or did you just look at the pictures?

  • And yes I do think this was offensive to us black women even though I don't mind walking and I don't really like fried chicken too much because it's not the best thing.

  • You know and I was going to go to a Christmas dinner today I'm not even sure if I still want to go, well I want to go but I don't feel comfortable now. But on the otherhand I'm kind of hungry.

  • fat albert has a camel toe.

  • YOU GO BOY,

I NOTICED THIS. BLACK WOMAN ARE DOGG,

    IT'S SAD.

  • im a big girl but i loved this post he is only telling the truth that he knows

  • and to make things worse they actually thing that overweight is cute,...its not its unhealthy

  • @bellaladonna- that's true it's a problem with all of the U.s but Black women have always been fat and its been getting worse, compare the population of Black women that are obese to the whole population of black females and you'll see what he means.

  • @teenflight01 Black woman have not "ALWAYS" been fat. It's actually quite the contrary. Weight issues within the black community flourished the most only after slavery because of the poor quality of food they were allowed to have and the cost issues. But even then it wasn't to the epidemic like status it is today. Yes I am a black woman, but I'm also not overweight(anymore). I'm what 'thick' woman would call a 'skinny bitch'. I go to the gym 6 days a week, and I'm also a vegetarian.

  • @jabootyqueen010 Yeah thats tru.. but u get where Im going with this right? they need to change their ways....Im proud of u sis.

  • @teenflight01 Of course. It's understandable and they really do need to change. It's seems like a form of suicide to let yourself get that way and seriously think it's alright and continue that life style when diabetes and high blood pressure are so prevalent. =( And thank you. I try my best. =)

  • LMAO@ SHEEEEEEEEEETTTTTTT

  • LUVIN that miles davis though....

  • well done!!!

  • Fat women are disgusting smell like pigs and oink

  • buuuuut, this isn't about all black women, this is about one woman, or a few women that you know. Obesity is not a black issue, stop making it one

  • I'm subscribing just off this one video!

  • We all know that sickle is not caused by weight. It can also be argued that diabetes is not totally brought on by weight (there are skinny diabetics). What the brother is saying is that being overweight does not help the matters. Plus. truth is truth. The one thing that black people need to do is to stop being emotional. Take the message and learn from it. Hell, he did not use your name or call you out personally. This is knowledge, and only Allah knows that we all need this.

  • sickle cell has nothing to do with obesity or being overweight. it is a genetic disease, your born with it. Who is narrating this?

  • not only i like bbw, i love them

  • Thumbs up and a side wink

  • "to the left, to the left is a gym" lmao...nice

  • I love this video! Thank you!

  • Very Nice.

  • I agree with everything except being overweight does NOT cause sickle cell anemia it is an inherited genetic defect of red blood cells. otherwise... preach on brother and some white women too!!

  • on point . . .

  • Man, I saw you perform in St. Louis last tuesday & I love that you are dropping knowledge like this! I bought one of your CDs & will be sharing your links with my friends. Keep up the good work brother!

  • I'm becoming more and more irate that the majority of the conversations on here are centered around superficial crap like looks, what type of women men want to sleep with, etc. I can assure you, that when your kidneys fail from having obesity induced diabetes, NONE of the stuff matters! A sure-fire way to never "get a man" again is to have to spend most of your day hooked up to dialysis

  • .maybe the next poet yall post better have his facts i get where he was going with it but from a skinny bitch to another i had to back my thick mamas up lol

  • well in a way that poem was bashing big girls and as for black men all broke ones do not just date big woman trust not true at all cuz men fuck anything that has a phat ass big chest and pussy who cares skinny girls get cheated on more then fat girls do trust seen that on the news look in to it so start checking yo mans phone...lol who doesnt ...i mean every one gets cheated on but skinny thin thick or fat ..........

  • As a soon to be R.N , I appreciate any message to populations who are more prone to obesity-The patients I have had thus far break my heart because 90% of the time their illnesses were 100% PREVENTABLE- I did most of my rotations on a cardiac/renal unit, and have seen the ugly truth- kidney failure, limb amputation, death in middle age, and most of my patients were people of color-and all their problems started with obesity- sad sad sad- please take of your body!

  • @Msirisheyes1 are you a white RN

  • One helluva conversation starter thats for sho, and as a poet thats the main thing you hope a poem can do, be something ppl talk about even when the cypher is over....

  • black women talk bad about black men on tv since the early 90's remember ricki lake jenny jones.

  • Love this, a reality check for us all. Much Luv.

  • self esteem exactly

  • I'm not racist but there a millions of fat white women in america but you don't see there men on here downing them. Your an ignorant uncle tom! your a disgrace! Black women have enough things to deal with than your ignorant hateful sophmoric banter! Your a moron! Sistahs don't listen to this poor excuse of a Black Male. Idiot!

  • What! White men do down fat white women!

  • @tierawwf What white men are downing their women on Youtube? as in publicly. Show me one video of white men downing their women ......Exactly... Thank You!

  • I am a Black man who loves his Black woman. Sometimes to get people's attention, you have to get under their skin. Sista, I know that this is painful, but this is one epidemic we DO have direct control of. Obesity is killing good Black women. Let's heal this community, starting at the dinner table.

  • @Lucious25 they dont want to be heal. Coming from a black woman quote: I have found my true luv . . FOOD no joke

  • @linnear04 not true i see white men dogging out white woman for being fat and they always say i need to go on a diet . . all the time

  • Well done---co-sign

  • This is awesome.

  • You are wrong for this bro, all of my lady friends are large women, your poetry is an oxymoron! You are disrepecting a lot of bbw's out there, I love a lady with meat on her bones,I think the ladies of color in America do not need your poetic ablitiy to tell them that tey are fat,and what to do about it.. I think they do have a level of intelligence, very high, geive her a break!!

  • @blkpopeye

As an African American woman, I appreciate this video. Thank you (APB) for dispelling all of the bs that we use to stay complacent. I will no longer buy into the justifications from men that perpetuate an unhealthy lifestyle.

And to all of the people out there who don't think that BW need to hear this...............give me a break!

  • that's just mess up calling big girls out like that there is more to it than eating there emotional issues abuse while growing up just do think we all lazy because you see in your family we all are diffrent time for you to look outside the box

  • Pork isn't good for you. Seriously people should not even eat pork at all.

  • You have a point but not ALL fat woman are the same i.e. lazy, greedy etc. And it isn't just broke men who like big women... Also, there is an assumption that being skinny means you are healthy - it does not!! Using insults and stereotypes is a shitty way of getting your point across. Don't disrespect me and then tell me not to be offended!!

Also, perhaps you should be talking a little about the big fat black men that are becoming ever more common in the USA.

  • @musikal80

you need a reality check if you think that you're just as healthy as skinny women

now of course skinny people have a lot of health issues too but unless they're anorexic it got nothing to do with their weight!

  • I think the video is geared toward black women because there is a prevailing mindset in the black community that overweight women are desirable to black men. There's no such mindset geared toward black men. Therefore black women are being SOLD an idea that their unhealthy lifestyles are okay. Not only okay but good.

  • "Overweight" is a relative scale, it doesn't take into account bone density, muscularity, etc. The women he's showing in this video are morbidly obese not overweight. Overweight is within 20-30 lbs of the healthy BMI. That's not what's going on here, this is pathologized body image, and I don't think black women started or perpetuated that notion, it is, once again, a white cultural framework that got picked up and echoed in popular culture by white writers and artists.

  • More excuses for obesity. Mot black women 25 to 30 years were not overweight or obese. That's the problem with most black women they make too many excuses for their weight.

  • Let's stop "calling each other out" and start speaking from love and light, alright? These hate attacks masquerading as a love message bring the spirit down and foster animosity when they could be spoken from a place of peace and humility and inspire and enlighten.

I appreciate your effort, brother, please consider these words in love, to spread love and give love.

  • PROPS

  • great job! all you said is true.

  • THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Bravo, well said and FOOD FOR THOUGHT!!!

  • i understand what the message is but weight is NOT the black communitys biggest issue. we have bigger problems than that. AIDS IS A MUCH WORSE PROBLEM.

  • @feczor what rule makes it so that you can't work on both at the same time?

  • there isnt a rule that says we cant but being fat isnt contagious and doesnt mean you will die while AIDS on the other is guaranteed death.

  • being fat is a guaranteed death!

it takes a long time but it will make your life span a lot shorter!

and due to stress and unhappiness cause of their weight people will get even more unhealthy

i am seriously wondering if you don't notice that you have a bullshit argument...

what you are saying is that people should just continue living unhealthy and irresponsible life styles just because their is fucking AIDS

what about cardiac arrest and diabetes and joint pains due to being fat

  • @n1bigdaddy actually thats false. its not the fat the kills you its the diet dumb ass. if two people one skinny and one fat both have VERY crappy diets who do you think is going to be healthy between the both of them? answer is niether. being skinny doesnt mean your healthy either and thinking that is giving a person false sense of health. being fat isnt a death sentence and some honest docs have said this. its the diet not the weight number.

  • Guess how they got fat dumbass...

And you're also wrong about your assumption that diabetes is not weight related.

People with high levels of physical activity, a healthy diet, do not smoke, and consume alcohol in moderation have a 82% lower rate of diabetes. Obesity has been found to contribute to approximately 55% type 2 diabetes.

Now it is pretty obvious that you are very misinformed on this subject. I suggest you to use sites like wikipedia and to read books.

  • @n1bigdaddy have you forgotten about the diet? whats the person suger intake? people need to really stop eating products with high fructose corn syrup thats prolly a big contributer to diabetes.

  • @feczor

I love how you avoid all my arguments by jumping to something else...

I agree that people should stop eating products with high fructose corn syrup in it though cause it is a big contributer to type 2 diabetes.

  • @n1bigdaddy exactly its not the weight as much as it is the diet. now your getting it. trust me if a big person eith health issues were to cut out the crap foods by either cutting down or getting rid of the junk completely i can bet money that the persons health would improve at the weight they are at.

  • @feczor lol I always understood...

    it seems you still don't

you know what would happen when a fat person would stop eating crap like that? THEY LOOSE WEIGHT *shock*

what's really grinding my gears though is that you still fucking think that being fat is okay as long as you eat healthy...

    it isn't!

you need to have normal weight and a healthy diet in order to be healthy

now of course you can still get diseases (shit happens) but you WILL get better odds of not getting it

  • @n1bigdaddy and the diabeters thing isnt weight related its again diet and i know a ton of thin people with diabetes so what do you sudjest they do lose weight too?

  • Never have I said that weight is the only reason for diabetes. What I did say is that you can get it due to being fat.

I like to apologize for my rudeness but I just get so sad and angry when people think that obesity is not a big deal.

I think that your own hardships on this matter are the cause of your warped views.

I am done with this discussion.

  • Brotha, this is the truth!!! As a sista who has made the effort to get off my big ass, I know that what you are speaking is REAL! Fat is not fun, & its not healthy. Preach on brotha, preach on...Im listening....*snaps*

  • loved it very much

  • If you burn more calories than you take in you will not get fat!

  • I am a black woman who was not always fat until I came to America and adopted the standard of living here. Now I am trying to lose the weight. I agree with this vid. BLACK WOMEN: IT IS NOT OK TO BE BIG. IT IS NOT BEAUTIFUL. WHAT IT IS IS DANGEROUS AND UNATTRACTIVE. DON'T BELIEVE THE HYPE ANYMORE THAT BIG IS IN. ONLY PLACE IT WILL BE IN IS IN THE GRAVE. BECAUSE THAT IS WHERE WE ARE HEADING, FAST!.

I don't want to be fat anymore. I am going back to my roots. I am not buying into the propaganda

  • If we have Aids a man gave it to us}}} Black man !

  • well done brotha, when the hell did it become kewl to be fat??!!!??

  • *snap*

  • amen.

  • @Vierra....lol. I see you didn't get my point. Another closed minded comment I must digress from. My goodness People. I'm sure you read ALL of my other comments. If You STILL don't get my point. Oh well. lol.

Yet I respect your doing some research and sharing that information with those who may be interested in those stats. As I suggested to another comment, how about YOU make a video addressing ALL OF YOUR POINTS....then that shall be the end of your argument.

    Peace.

  • @Vierra01. The answer is very simple to your overall question of why was this video geared toward African American women and not African African American men and other issues effecting the

    African American community.

This is JUST one vid and the author of it has decided to focus on ONE TOPIC, which took 6 minutes and 59 seconds. Why must there be an "issue" with this vid having a focal Point?

The Questions are Rhetorical, because I already know the answers. Do any of you?

  • I needed to watch this. Thank you Rodrick. This is real. Man, you don't know how bad I needed to hear this. Kick in my ass.

  • there are black men who are overweight just as much as black women but I do not see you attacking them...also obesity is an issue with the U.S. population (not JUST primarily black women)

  • @bellaladonna Then do your own video and stop trying to deflect the issue. This is about the women right now.

  • Example: I can accuse someone of being a drug addict and alcoholic, turn right around and say "no hard feelings. hope i didn't hurt your feelings. Now do better!" If they don't deal with what got them addicted in the first place i'm wasting my breath, making them look like the villain while they could honestly be trying to help themselves. People may judge me by what they think I haven't accomplished, I judge myself by what I know I'm capable of.

Don't be a person who has sight but no vision.

  • I also noticed that your video focused on the image of obesity in black women. The fact that some black women ARE fat, but it didn't give much depth as to the causes of the obesity. It was mainly just an accusation. What about the CAUSES of obesity in the black community? What about the CAUSES of high infant mortality rate in the black community? What about the CAUSES of the high drop out rate? What about the CAUSES of fatherless children? I can go on all day...

  • I have an EXCELLENT idea. How about you Kitty Boo Kitty, make a video addressing these issues that you mention? I would watch it for sure. You would express much talent to express them all in one video under 10 minutes that catches the attention of many.

I would support your video and post it on my page just as I've done this one. You see, so many people have posted comments to this video stating what it doesn't address, and what it doesn't do, yet they have yet all they do is comment

  • (Continued....) Overall, it would be great if you make a vid. Please let me know if you do. As I stated before, everyone is commenting about what this video doesn't do, YET, no one has made a video better than this one. Better yet, no one has made a video that does and says all the things this video "doesn't". I know someone has to be able to.

With all that you've written, perhpas you are the one? I'm excited to see what you do! Take care honey.

    Peace & Veggies! ~MGS

  • Wow, so maybe I don't have the right to express an opinion on a video without making a video response? That's odd. The truth is, I'm just not interested in making a video or video response to this video. I'm interested in making videos on 1) my weight loss and 2) my decision to go natural.

Furthermore, someone actually HAS make a plenty of vids on these things. BlaqueIndigo is one for starters. Maybe you're not looking hard enough?

Thanks but no thanks. And I WILL continue give my opinions.

  • Woah! I see I pushed button of yours. I simply suggested you make a video and I would be excited to see it and I would post it on my page. I love BlacqueIndigo and many of her vids are posted on my page isnt' she such a beautiful woman filled with knowledge!

You didn't get my point. It went over your head. I respect that you misinterpreted my comment and I digress. Take care honey.

    Peace & Veggies! ~MGS

P.S. My page may be helpful in helping with your weightloss journey!

  • You know what? Maybe it did "go over my head" but it's comments like those that signified to me that your previous comment was LACED with sarcasm and ill intent. Maybe it wasn't, but as I read it, it seemed that it was, and I responded in kind. No buttons pushed and I got your point; it's just something that interests me at this time.

B.I. is, in fact, a very inspiring person and I check her out often. If you're into raw, you should check out "LovingRaw" and "rawmodel"

    Both are great.

    Deuces.

  • Neat video. I haven't checked out all your other videos yet, but have you done one on the black men who may be fine as hell but don't do shit with their lives but die and go to prison? And oh yeah, make illegitimate babies with women who used to be fine but got fat during the pregnancies? LOL. I'm fat, but at least I'm doing something about it - see channel. But some fat women in poor communities don't have as much access to healthy solutions, but FF is around every corner. Isn't that odd?

  • I def agree with kitty-there are causes for the obesity epidemic in our community. However, this video will def catch the attention of some of our sisters-and it will induce action-IN SOME! I appreciate his reactive emotion-it means he cares. Many brothers don't-as long as they can find that obese sister they can extort, and use-they are happy.

  • Great Job-this one of my favorites!

  • OMG!!!!! Where have YOU been? I am in tears. Thank you for telling the TRUTH so, so deftly my Brotha. You are a Masterful Wordsmith indeed. I offer you a resounding applause.

  • I always thought black women are the only ones that could actually pass off being overweight, they seem to have so much confidence. As with any race, being overweight is over-priced when it comes to health. Great vid.

  • Thank You brother I needed to hear that since I was comtemplating changing my lifestyle and eating habits. No one really tells us the truth about our weight and the Moniques and Star Jones of the world don't, which I never bought what they were selling anyway.

  • @yvette32428: I don't understand why you see it as "insulting" black women... My lady is overweight; I'm a personal trainer. We have a gym IN OUR HOME!...She's not lazy, she works hard, but she embraces the "big is beautiful" trend...When you embrace that you embrace choices that may lead to health risk...Black women embrace it more than others, that mindset must die.

  • 100%TRUE

    LOVE-IT!!!!!!!

  • This is PROFOUND!

  • DITTO

  • lol...this is motivation!!! today i didnt feel like going to the gym, then I watched this video....I am on my way out the door!!

  • Wow that was an amazing poem! I agree with u 110% Since I've become vegetarian I breathe better, and feel better. I dont have a car anymore I walk everywhere now. Great work brotha.

  • stop being in denial or being delusional, this video is the truth

  • @ Yvette, you just don't get it. And the scarey thing is, you may never get it.

I digress from commenting any further to your post. My message is simply not getting through to you.

    Peace & Veggies! ~MGS

  • @ Yvette, lastly, yes, to every situation there is a good & bad side. There's a negative & positive side, yet it is up to the individual to decide which information they desire to obtain through a message.

If dwelling on the elements of this video that anger you, is what you have decided to do. I respect that.

Overall, I just hope that if indeed you are overweight, that one day you too will wake up like I did. And when you drop about 40 pounds, come back and watch the video again....

  • @ Yvette, I have struggled with being Overweight and Depressed for YEARS!!! I suffered the worst with these two issues during college.

I was eating horribly! I could eat so much and there wasn't much I wouldn't eat. I too was an emotional eater on top of being a lover of FOOD!

Yet finally one day I woke up and began to love myself more and take charge of my life and the things that I put into my body.

Check my channel. I'm not a negative person. I want to so my people healthy.

  • @ Yvette, I understand that this video shall not be liked by all. Though it simply saddens me that you have choosen to highlight all of the negative attributes of the video, as if you found nothing positive at all. Could be possible that you don't see any truths?

And sometimes a Public Forum is needed to reach the masses. This video has been viewed over 19,000 times!!!! And more people found it's content beneficial than not (check the messages).

  • @ Yvette, also, you mention that many people suffer from depression & stress, which may result in over-eating.

And the the truth of the matter is, A LOT of what we eat, is what controls our emotions. Unhealthy foods hold the ability to triger horomones imbalances. Unhealthy foods can INCREASE depressions and anxiety.

YET, HEALTHY foods can helpt to battle these dis-eases. Do some research and you will be surprised at the beneficial TRUTH that's out there.

    Peace & Veggies! ~MGS

  • Black Women are not the only ones who are over weight. There are just as many or more White Woman that are over weight, including men.

  • @ Yvette, both of your comments are filled with anger. I'm not too sure where all of your anger is coming from, yet I have a strong feeling that your anger does not derive solely from this YouTube Video.

I love this video. It speak a lot of TRUTHS. I'm from Chicago and know many women who can relate to this video. Indeed stereotypes are present, yet sometimes stereotypes hold some levels of truths.

    And sometimes truths hurt.

    Peace & Veggies! ~MGS

  • I love the poem.

I recommend all PEOPLE OF COLOR, to watch "Secret of Melanin". This video series, says how people who are dark have alot of melanin, which holds on to fat!

Thats why men & woman of darker skin have a higher risk of being overweight in the USA.

Also, read the curse in Isa 3:16-24 If you believe that the real jews are black see how the curse has come upon the black women. Baldness is one of the curses.

Also mentions the men of Israel dieing by the sword (blk on blk crime?)

  • Love it! Definitely motivating! Thanks :)

  • Very eye opening...Looved the clips and the message was...no IS something to let simmer in the mind...thanks

  • awesome video! I am losing weight now! Favoriting this!

  • Wow....a wake up call.

  • i am white and not overweight but you got my ass of the couch. thanks. it was just beautiful piece of inspiration for everybody i think:)

  • Thank you Rodrick! So true.

  • Comment removed

  • (lol)

  • That's cold! But you know the truth hurts. Hopefully those who the shoe fits, can take it for the love that was put into it. I'd like to share it, and I will, but have to warn some of my church sista's about the cussin'. (LOL).

  • I really enjoyed this. It was tight, but it was right! Wow, Excellent.

  • cute.... oh well back to reality

  • I noticed you inserted a still from the wizard of oz, that's a film with no black in it.

  • Thank You!

  • You're SO right! but I think the only one hated more than a Fat Black woman is any Black man

  • obesity is black on black crime?? i think you need to revise your "poem"

  • Great message but way too many Black sterotypes and cliches on both sides ot the argument here. Using real and current examples of successful and healthy Black women would be more convincing.

  • madd fresh...coming from a fellow writer...madd dope! i dug it :o) some stereotypes are brought to the table and it can come across offensive...but in a way, I think it's cool. It's kind of a message showing that we don't have to bend to stereotypes set for us...that we don't have to conform to standards others set for us or low standards we set for ourselves. It was beautiful. Keep writing and speaking. it rocked :o)

  • How can u claim to be poor and struggling and your whole immediate family is fat? How many blacks know people like that, claiming they broke, but always got money to buy some edible shit? I completely agree that we blacks, not just woman, spend too much time eating unhealthy trash, and focusing on what is unimportant to our health. Fat is hazardous and abnormal, face the reality. I say the same for anorexia.

  • nothin sexier than a curvy dark-skinned woman though..

  • @Thaddeus088

There's a difference (a huge one) between "curvy" and "butterball". This video is talking about the "butterball".

  • True. We as Black women need to keep that line between curvy and obese, a "THICK" line not a THIN one (no pun intended). I'm losing weight now!! a big body equals a clogged artery.

  • MERCY

  • This kicked ass, too bad too many people will hear you but not HEAR you.

  • Interesting. I especially liked the part talking about morbidly obese women that care more about their hair than their weight. I knew a lot of females (not just black) that were that way.
