my doctor told me not to eat before i went for the glucose test.. but it wasnt that bad.. just drink the stuff and sit around for an hour and get blood taken.. piece of cake..!!!
I hope your LO turns around so you can get good pictures! My mother-in-law said her youngest son would dance on her bladder, LOL! So I hope your LO doesn't do that. Do your vitamins have the same stuff as prenatals? The look yummy!
The glucose test isn't bad. I had lemonade flavour and it tasted ok... just really sweet. I had mine in the morning and I wasn't told I couldn't eat. However if I did eat anything with sugar in it it would obviously bring up the reading. I had porridge for breakfast with a bit of milk and no sugar... and then I brought a musli bar and cheese and crackers to eat at the hospital after they had taken my blood. That stopped me from crashing afterwards and my results all came back normal.
@exohANNE haha yeah i had to pay crazy money for it but it was so worth it :) i got my glucose test done and everything is finee thats goodness lol. and congrats on ur little girl thats so weird were sue at the same exact time lol

wow you paid 133 dollars for the 3d ultrasound for 20 mins? thats crazy, i just turned 28 weeks on thursday and i had my 3d ultrasound at 26 weeks, i paid 250 dollars for an hour long session plus the whole thing was recorded on DVD, i got pics and a teddybear with her heartbeat recorded inside. what place did you go to. UC Baby? also, dont eat before your gestational diabetes test, you cant eat from 12am the night before or drink anything.

I had orange flavor, It was like flat soda. Just chug take a deep breath and keep your mind busy for the hour(: Youll be good.<333
They told me that i could eat before just as long as it wasn't anything that had a lot of sugar in it....i took mine today...i got the fruit punch flavor drink and it was absolutely disgusting, and i threw it up!

3d ultrasounds are awesome! Definetly worth the money..and expecting a girl, its always nice to be sure that it is a girl lol.
And inregards to the glucose test..i was never told i couldnt eat..i needed to eat lol cos me,blood tests & pregnancy dont match haha.
i had a lemonade flavoured drink & it was fizzy but made me feel so sick..close to chucking actually!
