  • Thats the shit right there!!!

  • bist du komplett deppad! gebt ihn mir oder ich kill euch alle!

  • it's still a POS chevy

  • @bl00dyk4rm4 ur just a pos hater one thousand dollors says your car doesnt even come close to making a 1000 hp, so stfu, stick your useless piece of shit head up a cows ass,

  • @bl00dyk4rm4 get your ignorant ass out here! and if your gonna talk shit on other peoples rides post vids of your own ride first LMAO. i bet your faggot ass doesn't even have a fucking car or a license hahahaha and how the fuck are you gonna talk shit on a car pushing 1,000hp? oh i know why because your a little bitch ass JDM fanboy lol

  • i dont understand why youd turbo. supercharge it

  • @lifesawfullyterrible Turbos are essentially free horsepower. Just restricts some flow. Superchargers can use up to 50% of the output horsepower just to turn. Granted, blowers provide more bottom end torque, but if you have a high rpm engine, why not utilize it? And when was the last time you heard 1100 horses sound that tame at an idle with a blower?

  • @MrJesspatrick He may have spoken with his feelings : why would you inject fuel in a Chevelle when you can put better carbs? Why would you put twin turbos on a good old car like that when its charisma is the devilish roar coming out of its sick blown motor, as if it was a T-rex just waiting to eat with an infinite bloodthirst?

Turbos and fuel injection are efficient, but they should remain on modern cars, or cars built with one.

Nice Chevelle anyway! I love it!

  • @Seventaiji Obviously, it all comes down to preference, but why wouldn't you want a car you can easily drive down main street and blow the doors off of damn near anything that pulled up next to you. Also, whenever you notice the car isn't running right, you can plug your computer in and not only diagnose what is wrong, but change the tune with a couple of keystrokes. Sounds like heaven to me...

  • @MrJesspatrick It is sweet, I agree, and I'd like it, for sure... but this is not enough for me. Cars are a special kind of machines, for whoever likes them.. When you drive a carb car, you may feel it as if it was speaking to you. Even if there are no more signs than its sound, the sweetness or hardness of its shiftbox, touch of the handwheel, and g forces or vibration... You have this impression.

I need to feel my ride, that's why for muscle cars, I prefer carbys and superchargers.

  • for all close minded people that think all muscle cars still have 40 year old suspension and can't negotiate turns, just search the hotchkis suspension videos.

Apply the same technology of today on yesterday's muscle and you really have something to talk about.

  • i want it :(

  • they make over 700 cubic inch displacements. besides, a 366 is small but it can make huge power.

  • lol, why would you say that? you know a 572 isn't the biggest chevy V8 don't you? and crate 572's are nothing impressive.

  • i myself am a "ricer" i agree 100% with the muscle heads.. but their are certain cars for certain tracks, come on ricers we have to use are brains on this you dumb fucks

  • ive heard the argument that muscle cars have bad handleing and cant take turns so much its sick. the whole argument is void because the only reason you would need more handleing then they offer is for raceing but real street raceing isnt like that FF shit you dont go around the block you go in a straight line so unless your going to the track they handle just fine

  • you can upgrade suspension LOL. you say that like you can't.

  • I was there, that car was crazy loud

  • I love chevelle, I love Pontiac, I loooooooooove american cars and I've loved it since I saw it the first time!

  • I love them too and its so sad that Pontiac's will be no more hopefully no other American cars will follow....

  • i didnt ask you, did anyone else? NO!

  • fuck off

  • get back on the boat please

  • American's started hot rodding back in the 20's. That big block chevelle will always be worth more money than any import. There is a reason why you don't see honda on barret jackson. The exception is rare exotic imports.

  • @gasshole82: The 1920's? Really? Nice ;-).

  • @gasshole82 I haven't even seen any of these "rare exotic imports" in the first place on barret jackson. I watch that shit so much its not even funny. Kills soap opera any dayy.

  • Very cool ride :)

Although 1100hp on E85...not that impressive since its 105 octane.

  • As opposed to guys running 116 race gas? It's a cheap alternative to race gas is how I look at it. 1100 horsepower to the rear wheels on 91 octane is a pretty big stretch. I'm not saying it's impossible, but very improbable to say the least.

  • plus you can buy E85 at pretty much every gas station!!!

  • Are you serious? You know what kind of parts and money it takes to make 1100 hp? I know 2 turbos help, but shit man.

  • As a former ASE cert. tech, I think I do have a reasonable idea of what it takes to make 1100hp. I'm not dissing the car in any way. I 'm just saying in this day and age, getting 1100hp out of a 540ci BB is rather mild. 1100hp is only 2hp per CI, while nothing to sneeze at, is rather mild compared to what some others are getting. Gale Banks gets 1100hp out of a 366ci SB, nelson racing engines gets 1500hp out of a 400ci SB.... see hot rods project F-bomb. just to name a couple.

  • Yeah, cause all of us can just afford to call NRE and order up a wicked 400 sb, you fucking R-tard! Shut the fuck up! Im talking the normal folk who actually spin wrenches! I work on plenty of shit and 1100 hp is still fucking impressive! Fuck you!

  • listen up you backwater dumb fuck..... do you know what ASE cert technician means? It means I've not only wrenched a lot, but I have an automotive education. And if your little pea brain gets you all tingly at 1100hp..... well then good for you.

If I'm going to the effort of scratch building a 540ci BB, turbo'd & intrld it, injected & on E85...... I'll be shooting for at least 1500hp. I can only assume the owner could have done the same thing but was content with a mild build of 1100hp

  • The car has made upwards of 1450 Hp, but that he does it with a singe 850 Holley and a blow through set up, does get me tingly! What, do you drive a top fuel car everyday? Shit, I get tingly from 500 hp, even the new SHO with 365 Hp gets me a little excited!

  • Thanks, you just made my point for me in that that engine is capable of much more and 1100hp is "mild" compared to what its capable of. And yes lots of engines waaayyyyy under 1100hp do get me excited. I'm not even a Ford guy, but I agree that new SHO is an impressive factory offering. Hell, I even get excited at a Turbo SS Cobalt. 260hp from 2L 4banger is pretty good, it can easily be tuned to around 320hp and with a a relatively few mods tops 400hp.

  • 1500hp is show car stuff. 1500 hp just turns engines in to a bunch of parts.

  • 1100 out of a 366! wow, is it supercharged or is that on race gas or what?

  • actually not alot of $. some. but the twins cost like 12k, but after that. the motor is probly like another 12k. soo. 25k and you got a lambo killer..

  • a lambo killer untill you have to slow and navigate turn one

  • lol typical ricer crap. theres plenty of muscle cars that will shit on imports in the corners.

  • I am as far away from a "ricer" as you can get. You should go take physics 101 for a refresher on reality. you can not make a 4k lb anything out corner a 2k lb any thing.

  • their are chevys that are lighter than the lightest honda civics. and they fit V8s in them fine.

  • 1988 Honda Civic Hatch, Manual trans 1933lbs, can't think of a single chevy that is lighter than that with v8 and tranny.

"they fit v8's in them fine."

Really? "fine?" your defanition of "fine" is horribly askew. lots of fabrication is necessary to drop a V anything in a civic.

  • a chevy s10 weighs 1800 - 2000lbs. their are other chevys that weigh in that range that people put in V8's as well but i don't want to look that up right now. and i never said a V8 can fit in a civic, i said a chevy.

  • s-dimes run in the 3k+ lb range with a iron block 305 and a five speed.

has chevy ever put out a car that can out handle a lambo? I'm talking a showroom comparison, not a vette with 10k in suspension and tires that make your kidneys ache after 10 miles.

  • @sk8forlife90 S10's are lil heavier than that. I have a 4 cylinder standard cab 5 speed short box s10 and it tips the scales at over 2500lbs on empty.

  • fuel injected twin turbos on a chevelle ss big block get you close

  • No shit, but to the average Joe with a small block, them's some big #''s.

  • Yea, but I was just saying lol

  • Damm I thought id be the only one with vid I have a longer vid I need to up load stupid dialup :(

  • i was there! amazing sound on that car!

  • Was there today.. great show!!! Thanks for posting these FireCraze!! Wish this show was more than one weekend a summer...

  • Way to go 1970 chevelle 540 BB twin turbo 1105hp running on E85 fuel impressive!
