@Pezreh omg thats the meanest thing ever. actual brian eno fans would totaly sit throught the whole song too. lol actually upload all his goodstuffs but with screamers lol. awsome. i hope someone does.
There is nothing enigmatic about my ironic comment. Consider this, if you were an intergalactic visitor what type of cultural artefact would you bestow on humanity? Music? visual art? food? language? Literature? Brian Eno is a genius, ditto. No he is not an alien, I thought you would have gathered that. But he did create an off shoot to Music Concrete'. That is very unique. Now listen to music for airports, is that not relevant to deep space?
Yes, thank you? :) What I meant is: music should be written on itself or following an inspiration.
To write it thinking about it as if it were an object, a part of the décor - music for greengrocers', music for dentists - should say a lot. COnsumerism.
Thanks for replying, I see 5 monkeys downrated my comment, not getting the least understanding of what I was inferring.
@expertmax1 he certainly did the W95 startup sound at least. heard him being interviewed talking about the comission...offering him pots of money to write apiece which should convey the following qualtiies - followed by a huge list of them ( innovatiom..modernity..calm etc etc etc - a page-worth of them) - and then said "it must be no more than 3.5 seconds long ", and he thought yeah I'll do that !!
what kinds of thoughts does this provoke??? there arent even any lyrics!!! sorry but i dont live in a buddhist monastery, i'm a venture capitalist who refuses to apologize to ANYONE and if i slowed down id prob DIE which is what i want to do when i hear this. you cant even fuck to this dude.

um, if i put this on while in the acts of romance, i would get laughed out of the room. to turn a lady on u need ENERGY and STAMINA. some good throbbing techno beats work best. im guessing brian eno either doesnt have a gf or hes one of those new age guys who cant get it up and just goes down on her for HER pleasure.
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
haha thanks but no thanks bro... i cant keep it up with r&b, it just doesnt do it for me. it does turn girls on tho, one hot one told me that she likes to have guys go down on her to rkelly. thats ok with me i guess, since id never ever do THAT anyway.
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
It really does suck. I'm more of an indie fan and find it hard to enjoy r&b, hiphop and so on, while I still enjoy a nice rack. It's quite controversial.
i looked up "strange overtones" as you suggested, and at first i thought yeah i could fuck to this no problem, like you said. but then the vocals started, some guy singing all high pitch and shit, and honestly when it comes to sex thats just gonna confuse me. i dont want to be thinking of feminine men when doing the deed with my feminine ladies, know what i mean? no offense to gay people, but penises scare me (vaginas kind of do too actually, more of a boob man).
as a frequent flier, i spend a lot of time in airports. i dont know what this guy is thinking, this music is terrible for airports! its so boring! seriously, they need to be playing some house music or something.
This is what exactly airports need. SLOW DOWN PEOPLE AND LISTEN. Then hear that this music IS NOT BORING. It's THOUGHT PROVOKING. You can get your house music on your crackberry while you frequently fly.
You really do have a small mind if you think this is boring! listen to the melody of the music! this has way more depth to it than any of the house music you listen to!
Also try Gavin Bryars if you like Brian Eno. Jesus Blood, Never Failed Me Yet being his best work. If you ignore the religious element its life affirming.
I listened to music for airports 3 the first time I smoked a bong of Salvia and my consciousness merged completely into the melody. It was the most intense psychedelic experience I've ever had or ever want to have. To become a Brian Eno tune is to feel what the eternity after the lights go out might be like.
this is one of my favourite albums and to see you create an amazing visual to a wonderful song is rather gratifying when you're sitting around at work; waiting to be inspired...
Green Lantern floating in the endless void of space and he listens to the symphony of the galaxies, music of twinkling stars and the waves of cosmic clouds...
Eno and trees is a nice match found on YouTube. His music has a surprising connection with nature, despite it's unnatural exterior on the surface (synths and whatnot).
@TheListeningChamber very lovely and well observed comment. I wholly agree. I think it's the fact that the music is very simple and almost flowing that reminds us of nature, which in itself is the simplest thing on the planet
It would kill me if there was a screamer half way through.

@expertmax1 - Eno was asked for two very short pieces to start and close windows.
I read it somewhere. His hour long THURSDAY AFTERNOON is brilliant. music to send you to sleep. Check out Dr Jeffrey D Thompson also. An American guy.

Brian Eno was dropped off from a spaceship during WW2, in Dover, while London was being bombed. He is infact, 90 years of age.
