  • Felt moved by your sharing in this video. Talking about how when you had WLS you would have never dreamed that you would be running 14 miles, I am coming up to my surgury on the 13th of this month, and your videos have given my the inspiration to dream that I could be a runner and so much more. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you.

  • Wendy, you are a special lady! And I want to wish you a wonderful 2012! I can't wait to see what u will do, all us achievements and victories! You are one to look up to! All my love to you and your family! Lucia

  • Love this video, you speak my very own words. We can never know what we can become if we don't reach down those unknown paths

  • Great video, Wendy! I'm from Byesville (Guernsey County waves hello!) lol and working on the process of gastric bypass. Your videos are so informative, and I just really enjoy watching them! Tim McCaulley had told me to check you out on here when I posted on FB that I was starting the long journey myself. I hope you have a great NYE and look forward to more videos!

  • I love the balance you display in your journey. I can so relate to your comments on water and exercise. Great video!

  • 70 weeks at maintenance ! GREAT!

  • Exercise = Happy endorphins!:)

  • I totally understand what you mean about getting dressed. At my heaviest, I had a few outfits that I circulated and wore over and over that I "hid" behind (Or thought I did)! Now--- I have choices! Lots and lots of choices that each look as great as the next! Also--exercise! My husband TELLS ME when I need to go for a run (usually when I am being irritable). LOL. Although I'm in maintenance, I sure need to set some new goals for 2012. Look for me a little more often in 2012! Happy New Year!

  • I love the fact that you have so much to wear that you cannot make up you mind. That is awesome. It is your reward for your hard work. This is very inspirational to me.

  • Great video, I wish I would have done this during my journey, I just found your channel last week, I have been trying to catch up but there are a lot to watch. I had my surgery on 12/1/08 and have lost 180 lbs so far, I've been struggling the past year to get these last 80 lbs off. Your videos have got me motivated again, so thank you for that. I would love to start making videos myself but I think it's kinda too late in my journey. I look foward to watching the rest of them and Happy New Year!

  • thanks for painting the possibilities!

  • Loved your sharing here. Though I still resist to some degree and must PUSH myself to get to the gym, exercise has become a means for me to get my ____ [grit teeth] out too--which is great. I relate to what you said in regard to family comments and outfits in my own ways...I have been near perfect with my way of eating and even on Christmas I did not eat any of the classic desserts--cookies, etc; I had my usual daily fruit. I wanted the sweets pretty badly but chose not to indulge...

  • @ckrtom2 thanks for watching. Remind me why it is that you do not make videos? it is a shame. i would love to see you and learn more about you. i always appreciate your comments. I live near perfect with eating 90% of the time. I do not sweat the small food issues anymore. good for you and staying on plan through the holiday. i tried something different this year. thanks again for the support. Happy New Year!

  • ty great vid!

  • @ReillyAJ you are welcome. thank you!

  • Succes with WLS = clothes options! lol ty for the update!

  • @GhrelinBgone totally! you are welcome.

  • You said you were a food addict so I was wondering was that a mistake, or do you truly feel in your heart you are no longer a food addict? You are so right Wendy about fighting for it and so I will start making videos again and get this party started! lol I have only made one video and so it's time to get my life started. I feel like 2012 is going to be a great year for me. ttyl!

  • @kkimberly2004 yes. i do believe that when a person thinks about food, always searches for the next delicious eats, plan all social activities around food and eats when they want, what they want all the freaking time they are a food addict. I am still a foodie, but in a different way now. We MUST fight - there is no easy way around being successful with the lapband, there is not. I look forward to your vids in 2012.

  • great video.

  • @angelrose4ever thanks!
