Imagine if every atom of your mind, brain, etc. had an invisible thread connected to every other atom in the universe. These threads are "tugged" according to your unconscious intention. Thus, when something significant happens in the world, these threads are tugged in locales you consider important...including those atoms of the Random Event Generator.

That explanation is not technically correct, it's just a metaphor.

To add a bit, I believe if I tug threads that are kind to others, then next thing you know, they tug threads that are kind to others and next thing you know, someone is tugging a thread that is kind to me. True, in the threads model/metaphor, there seems to have a two-way nature. Nature#1: information can be accessed from any space or time (inward nature). Nature#2: consciousness can influence and space or time (outward nature).

I used "nature" instead of "flow" because the instantaneous quality of these phenomena negates the concept of flow.

I haven't seen any empirical evidence if kindness begets kindness, but there are constructive and destructive waves, which probably act in this Thing.

RodCornholio. Good stuff. Yes, I think of two sorts. I guess I think one is what my simple brain thinks, those moments I talk to myself, and the other a voice that speaks to my heart in a way I really have no idea what it says. The heart is more powerful than the brain, yet I can actually with my simple brains thought, both voices concerned, either soften or harden my heart. Soft is better. I have tested many times, kindness begets kindness if its a matter of heart. A true sort of kindness. ????

I was thinking to myself to imagine. to imagine all of us humans are connected, thats not such a far stretch of imagination. We have heard of animals that have a super sense or what not. Thanks! The GCP has a procedure for doing what you suggest: specifying a future event for analysis. First we specify the exact event date and duration. Then we specify exactly how to analyze the data and state an expected result as hypothesis. All is posted on our website in a "prediction registry". Data are collected in a data archive which is sealed until the event occurs. After the event, we open the archive, extract the data, analyze it as specified and post the result on the GCP web page.
