They've change Youtube so much I almost couldn't find this video! Wanted to let you know that I'm remembering Alan especially today on his birthday. He was such an amazing young man! Saying extra prayers for your family as you miss him even more today.
So sorry for your loss.My 18 year old daughter has Juvenile Huntington's disease,a degenerative terminal illness. It's taking her mentally and physically over time,I do almost everything for her now. There is nothing more cruel than watching your child suffer to lose them in time.God bless you all xxx
When I was in the 5th Grade I lived in Scottsboro Alabama and went to Page Elementary ( the last year before they closed it) I was in the Geography Bee with Alan. I was so amazed at how intelligent he was. What a wonderful person he was and what a wonderful family he had. I am grown up now and in college in Texas and I still remember his inspirational story. God Bless
So sorry for your son. He seemed like a very sweet and intelligent kid. He was my favorite blogger, and i still use his neopets help website to this day =] I know how hard it is to lose someone you love to an illness, my grandfather passed away due to lung cancer and my mother's fighting a number of different illnesses. God bless you & your family!
Thank you so much for your kind words. It makes me very happy that Alan is still remembered and that you still use his Neopets Tips site. I never had the heart to remove the site because it means a lot to me. He started it when he was only 12. He taught himself HMTL, CSS, Jasc PSP, Java Script, etc. I'm sorry about your grandfather and I hope your mother is doing better. Thanks again for remembering Alan. :) God bless you, too!
I miss Alan! It's hard to comprehend that he's been missing from my life for 5 years as of today. It's like I carry him in my heart everywhere I go, so it doesn't seem that long. 5 years down and 45 or so (?) more to go before I can see him again!
Thanks for remembering Alan year after year. His birthday is actually tomorrow, the 15th, but I so appreciate you keeping us in your prayers! I miss him so much, especially this time of year. His first lung transplant was 9 years ago yesterday.
Hi there - I still think about Alan all the time. I hope that you all are doing well - know that you are always - and will always be - in my prayers. - From: Alan Lott (I was at Auburn University and now am at Utah State University)
Alan, it's so nice to hear from you. I truly appreciate you for keeping our Alan in your heart. He thought it was cool that Alan Lott was teaching at Auburn. I hope you and your family are doing well. I hope things are back to normal for your parents in New Orleans. We've had a lot of damaging storms here lately and it's hard to imagine living through the devastation that hit that area. Take care.
Thank you for sharing your sons story. My brother passed away in 2007 of Cystic Fibrosis and after having 2 double lung transplants! I pray every day for a cure! I just know that one day they will find one!
Been trying for a while to get on here. YouTube picked now to do maintenance!
Wanted you to know I've been praying so for your family today! I can't believe it's been 4 whole years already! Seems like just yesterday...oh I miss that smile!
I miss Alan so much. I've been thinking about him all day especially today on his birthday. Marilyn and I were expectant mothers at the same time.... had our first-borns only a few months apart... a special bond. It's so sad that he's gone but it is comforting to know he is in a better place now. Alan was a very special nephew to me and I will always love and miss him!
I'm sure it's hard to believe Alan would have been 19 today. Saying extra prayers for your family today as you deal with yet another birthday without him. He's celebrating his special day by looking into the eyes of Jesus, wrapped in His loving arms!
Thank you for sharing your video. It was very hard for me to watch because my 5 year old daughter has CF also. But we need to get our Cystic Fibrosis voices heard so that a cure may be found for all of these amazing children and young adults battling this disease.
