No offense, but I've tried to watch this movie but it's just so boring. It takes so long to get to the point and they didn't actually include all the important parts.

I like the 1968 musical version with Ron Moody, the 1948 version with Alec Guiness and the 1971 version. I don't like the later versions. Though the 2005 one is not too bad but at least it's more interesting than this.

Please don't flame me. I'm only saying what I think which I have every right to do.

@boffinme80 Sure its pretty long and drawn out but its far closer to actual book than most versions, some of the orders changed, but most of it is there. The acting is a lot better than many versions too. Personally, I am finding it impossible to stop watching it, its 5am at the moment.

@boffinme80 It's like this because it's not originally a movie, it's a mini-series, so they have to draw out the episodes to keep people interested in watching the next one, after all if you know everything by the first 3 minutes what point is there to rest of the movie. Oh and this version is way much closer to the book than any of the other versions.
