I got a bit of a problem...

My Football Manager 2009 is running I saved it and when I go to "Load Game" on the editor it brings up a little box saying "FMRTE didnt detect FM/WSM 2009 running"

What do I need to do?

when i have the folder on the desktop with all the FRMTE files in it.. i open it and click the one you clicked and everytime it just says FMRTEv2 has stopped working...a problem cause the program to stop working correctly :S then close program.

Hes stats were all 20,but few games later hes stats were like 16-17!

I put hes Potentian Ability on 200 and Current Ability on 200 too.

I've always had that problem, for example the Editor that comes with football manager, when you change the stats of players on fms original editor it changes stats over a period of time, if it changes down to 16-17 it still has the effect of a world class player of a 20 stat.

Ermm i cant really think of any but there is a few things to try that might work

Try going onto Preferences and look for "Compress Save Game" that might help ? im not sure sorry mate.

Try search the program name on google and go onto the first couple of search results to see if there's any advise on how to help you ?

Aw na mate i used to use the editor and hated it! i tried to change money and players stats on it but it just failed. The editor does what it wants really lol.

Ive got a idea thou, if you google FMRTE try and download a earlier version of the Editor ?

The editor which comes with the game can only edit games BEFORE you start them... Once you've started a game, you can't edit it with the official editor. (unless that's what you meant anyway)

In terms of this Editor, it seems to be working fine, and the finances all update when I change them, but when I go to bid on a player it says I only have 6Million to spend, when the home screen says 700Million. Any advice?

you don't use it, its like an update from Microsoft. so it makes you computer compatible with programs etc etc.

once you download it will be hiden on your computer. so basically if you download the framework and it still doesnt work

try going into the preferences on football manager and its rather tick or untick the save as compressed file!

just keep trying those settings.
