I gotta say, though, that the "anti-establishment" angle the Stanford guys play rings hollow to me. They put on half-hearted performances and pat themselves on the back for being "counterculture." It seems like more of an excuse to get the benefits of team support while putting in as little effort as possible. Have they no pride in a job well done?

i agree with epirgj12, the stanford tree belongs to the band and is way better than oski, he looks like a child molester. Haha the tree explained to all you guys that the costume is a spoof on other mascots (hmm, Oski perhaps?) Other mascots walk around with their hands behind their back and a retarded looking smile on their face and have what they think is a "ferocious grizzly bear" where the tree is full of energy. And the tree is the band's mascot not the school's mascot so get it right when you stupid Cal fans want to argue over the internet.
