  • i think she's reading the lyrics from a flat screen at the front of the stage.

  • @crikey5446 SURE READING!!!

  • RE_freshin'

  • she seems uncomfortable

  • flat as a pancake! and she's got an autocue! yeah, the words must mean a lot to her. Souless!

  • Easy Bob this girl only try :S

  • You still can't lose with any Dylan song.

  • Hahaha... Canta melhor?!... Você sabe o que é cantar?

  • meia boca

  • Watched it again for the first time in 2 months. It still sucks.

  • blowin' in the wind sounds fantastic with her....always flawless

  • bla bla bla, she's still awesome!! love this tooo!!!!!

  • I have seen in concert 4 or 5 times and she is an awsome live singer and performer....this act is kinda weak...she is reading the lyrics and it lacks so much soul. Her vocals are flawless but she is not there! I love her still!

  • This is just awful. There's no energy. She just stands there grinning like a goofball. If you're going to cover Bob Dylan you have to believe what you're singing. Karaoke is better than this.

And the harmonica is lousy. Don't compliment it.

  • i agree

  • she has no soul

  • she doesn't know "Blowin' in The Wind" she's reading it, What a dissapointment

  • If she didn't know it she wouldn't be able to carry the tune.

  • man alanis is so fucking hot!!!!

  • liked alanis had sung Bob Dylan songs!

  • This is so insane! My favorite female artist singin two of my favorite tunes from my favorite male artist!!

  • coool!!!

  • love the harmonica! she is great!

  • She's so great it makes me sick... =)

  • best night of my life!

  • Awesome!

  • I am in love with this woman

  • i hear u man. freaking hottie

  • i had just seen bob when this came on

  • Thanks so much for posting this. What a great version this is. I do like how she has to look down at the words, but who cares? Band sounds great!

  • Does anybody know if this tribute/concert is out in DVD, or where can i get it?

  • Watch the Marking Peters.. instead of Parking Meters. LOL

  • Don't make Bobby out as anti-war all the time, many of his less iconic songs are justifications for war, such as Neighborhood Bully.

  • foggy makes a valid point

  • The Subterranean homesick blues: She don't get it...

  • I didn't really enjoy Subterranean homesick blues (she tired me off). I accept though that it is an extremely difficult song to cover. But blowing in the wind, man, this is probably the best cover I've ever heard!

  • I love how pete townshend is diggin' her performance. that's quite a compliment!

  • does she have a speech defect?

  • Damn teleprompter

  • I'm surprised she did well.

  • she's looking hot

  • not nearly at the same level as the original

but it was still good though

  • Pretty great, upbeat, cover!

  • these ltrics are so UN-alanis, ans thats why its funny.

  • Are you kidding me? I have always thought her style of lyric writing was in the same vein as Bob Dylan.

  • ummm. NO! That is soooo wrong. Her writing is THE OPPOSITE of this.

  • I think her more recent stuff is in particular, yes. She's very peace-proponent. Especially stuff that's not about her love life, songs like "Offer" and "Utopia".

  • no...her lyrics are very Bob Dylanish.

look up her lyrics to "Awakening Americans" and "symptoms". Two of her more politcally fueled songs.

are you very familar with alanis or just her pigeon-holded jlp single work?

  • well to tell you the truth, im not familiar with bob dylan so that might be it. I'm the biggest alanis fan u can find though. and i dont see any similarities in the lyrics. end of story.

  • Bob dylan won the noble peace prize and he was one of those anti-war singer hippies minus the long hair back in the 60's. Im a huge alanis fan as well and don't really care for Dylans music but lyrically the man is pretty good.

  • though he never was even nominated for the nobel peace prize, he was for the nobel prize in literature, and he isn't that much of a hippie everbody still sees in him

  • Just a correction: Bob Dylan was nominated several times for the Nobel Prize in Literature, but hasn't won it. He has however received a Pulitzer Prize :)

  • Well read mrs Morissette!

  • and she still plays the harmonica like in the early times xD Loved it! =)

  • great versions!
