hey i grabed my gardens yestarday and i only say one for like a second idk he there just really scared of the tang a hawk fish but there a good 5 cm or 6 of sand so it should be anuff for them and there in it already do u think they will come out i have a yellow and a normal one
@rosenekokitty Yes, very hard to feed - they're skittish and don't always popup to grab the food that floats by ... and they stay buried. so you really need to "target" their feeding. I feed mysis, brine, etc. They're are great little characters - very entertaining! :)
Use a turkey baster thingie ... and squirt mysis in their general direction. Other fish will most likely eat everything that floats by the eel ... you you need to get it right by him, so he can grab it! :)

You'll need at least 5" of sand and a tank greater than 60g. Have fun! They're a bit hard to feed, but take your time!
