Meh, I am a christian myself, and I don't think this is really fair since there is a friend of mine whose a non-beleiver whom I really liked, because the way I see it Christainity and religion in general are starting too put barriers for us to prevent us from socially interacting with others unless if THEY ARE CHRISTIAN. I thought you might be since, from what - admittedly little - I've seen, Lane seems to prefer the KJV, although that doesn't mean he's an onlyist. Personally, I think the KJV is turgid. Lane IS chunky, and I was merely wondering why he wears exercise clothes in his videos. It gave me the impression of him being a poser and a slob. I don't consider myself arrogant for saying that, just honest. To the point: it's fine that you disagree, but I don't believe in the domestic subjugation of women.

In a biblical setting I think it is best to get advise in date\ing or courting from The session of the church that is the elders and pastor/teacher. Havinf a bunch of independant individualist kids apart from the oversite of their church may not be a good idea. If you watch the video we even mention this....we are using the term dating but by definition we are talking about the same thing as courtship. Dating with (serious) intent to marriage/courtship...its about a definition of the word. Our friend mark, in the video, came to us to do a video on 'Christian dating' so that is why that word is used. But by simply defining what we meant by the word dating (which we did), that should be cleared up.

We live on opposite ends of the country (over 2000 miles), and theres some logistical things that have to take place to just 'get married and get over it' thats all. in a perfect world we woulda met and lived down the street from each other, but thats just not the case, and there's some patience to be endured until we can move.

It's not natural or normal to tell young men and women to stay celibate throughout college until they marry at 22. Men and women are ready for marriage and sex and babies at 16-18.

But the community has no support for young couples. A generation ago they had "married apartments" at colleges. There are few "matchmakers" anymore.

Basically, adults have *failed* to teach and nurture the young generation how to start a family at the appropriate age, or provide any support for new families.
