  • poop and schmeer........

  • what tha hell is schieeeeeering??????

  • Hey Josh, great video. I was just curious when I ski powder later this year, how do I do the "Popshmear" test before I go?

  • 10cm? lol

  • Doesn't get much better than that? C'mon, man. That's a dusting.

  • Its all about speed. The faster you go the more you will float in the pow. Go fast and take chances!

  • U see the schmeeeeeerrrr?? :)

  • Shmeer, what a ridicilous way to explain something. Why do americans have to invent words

  • @chilebear yeah.....he's canadian, not american. You can tell by how awesome he is :)

  • Much prefer the Okanagan Champange thanks! :)

  • ye hes just trying to show u the technique of skiing in smooth powder

  • yeah but... that's not really powder...

  • poor bastards who call something like this a powder skiing :))

  • yea when you can lean against the front of your boots and not tumble it aint powder... id like to see him skiin in nipple deep colorado champagne

  • @seahog32 Old school powder technique

  • @Saitame i wasnt talking about his skiing technique, i was talking about the snow...skiing groomer with dusting of fresh snow is not what is called powder skiing in my book

  • i get the pop.. but not the shmeer

  • i think he means the smooth but constant pushing action in the middle and end of the turn. know what i mean?

  • oo ok.. yah kinda makes sense

  • @kjo14 I think he's describing compressing the legs into both skis to make the platform to pop out of. Pushing / bending into the skis at that part of the turn has the feeling of smearing the snow. ?
