  • your baby look strong and beauty.

  • @SaveAgent BS

  • if I know you early is good, cause before I am looking for mother milk for the child.

  • wait a minute so mothers are donating their milk even after their children grows up and no longer needs milk?

  • this is such an amazing thing that you are doing :)

  • Hey, I also donate here in UK :)

  • Hey Lucy, i was just wondering if you ever did your painted placenta print? I just wondered how it came out ...

  • Lucy ... missing your updates ... please update on your son, your daughter, your husbans job and lysney stone photography ...

  • do u know who u donate to specficly

  • miss lucy,

    we're waiting for another video...gah :)

  • Any tips on increasing milk supply. I have enough to feed my son and then express maybe an ounce afterwards. I want to be able to at least keep a supply in the freezer so my husband and I can go out every once and awhile. lol

  • oatmeal really helps.

  • This is amazing of you to do. I didn't even know they had things like this. Ill keep this in mind in the future and good job about putting the word out there.

  • Well remember our local bank will accept milk at no cost to you, good luck :)

  • Hi im a nurse student from australia and i've been watching your videos. I think this "wet nursing" (donating milk) is a lovely thing to do! well done Lucy thats awesome! :-)

  • Way to go Lucy!! I love watching your videos!! You are a model mother if there ever was one!! You have no ideal how helpful these videos are to people. Not only do you give mothers or moms to be ideals, but you give product reviews as well as business reviews, and now milk donation! Incredible!!

I would like to say I am sorry for the ignorant comments that people post on here in regards to your videos. It is really uncalled for. What the hell is wrong with people?!?!

  • Holy Cow you produced a lot of milk!!! Great job do you have any tips to producing that much??? I actually froze a lot of mine for my daughter to have in bottles when we were away from home!!!

  • I nurse my son when we away from home, much easier. So anything expressed is literally extra.

  • Jace looks super cute today. Thank you for donating.

  • Wow Lucky you!!!! i have a 5 month old and my milk was never enough for him i didnt have a bump wich i regret now. im still breast feeding him but i always have to give him formula like 4 to 6 onz. and he has acid reflux, i wonder if it is cuz of the formula (idk) how much water are you drinking?????

    your daughter is SOOOO cute!!!!!!

are you going to make monthly montage of your son?he is soooo cute too : )

I think that donating milk is awesome !!! you are such a great person : )

  • I'm drinking A LOT of water.

  • I have a question...you said that you have to promise to donate 100oz's. what happens if you cannot for whatever reason fulfill that obligation? Do you have to pay for the supplies that they give you? Will they not accept under 100oz per person?

  • I'm not sure??? Good question. Just email the address given and ask :) LMK what u find out please

  • Lucy, Jacelyn is absolutely divine - I'm loving the ponytail (is that what you call them in US?)

Did you have any problems donating given you're both tattooed? I'm not judging, simply curious as to why this was part of the screening.

I think its a fantastic thing you're doing. Think of all those little babies benefitting from your generosity!

  • I received my last tattoo when I was 18. 7 years ago. My husband received his last at the same time. No problems at all.

  • That is great!! I wasnt able to produce milk and imagine I wont be able to with this pregnancy but what a great gesture! PS: Jacelyn has sooo much hair! I have a 4 yr old and shes not even close! LOL

  • Thats such an awesome thing that you are doing and I really applaud you for that!!

  • i found out about this a while ago when thinking about how some mothers need it and cannot wait to be a doner when i have another baby.... u r awsome putting this info out there for others!

  • Wow what a great idea.. I had no idea there was anything like this.. I plan on breastfeeding and will definetly keep this in mind if I am successful!

  • That is so sweet of you to do! And my gosh, Jacelyn is getting soo big now! She's such a sweetie. :)

  • Jacelyn is so cute! How old is she now??

You are doing such a great thing!

  • just turned 17 months

  • That is really cool that you do that! :)

  • How do you get so much milk? For both of my kids i always had like "just" enough?! I mean it would feed them fine but if i tried to pump after, i would only get like an ounce! If you have any tips on how to get more milk, or up the supply or anything that would be great, maybe i could get more next time! lol

  • I read the same article in a peoples magazine. I just wish that i made enough milk to save for my own child. I am lucky enough to get an ounce a day to pump out. I dont know how to increase my milk supply.

  • You're doing such a great thing Lucy, you should feel very proud of yourself! Also Jacelyn is looking soooo adorable, she is definately gonna have the boys after her when she grows up!x

  • Thats awesome Lucy! I wish that I had such an abundant supply

  • Wow that's very cool of you to do that. I just read an artical in People about a man who's wife died either in childbirth or very shortly after (can't remember) and he has like 10 or 12 ladies come into his house and nurse his baby. Very cool thing to do, they are going to test the baby later on to see if since he is getting immunities from all these different people if he will be far less likely to ever need any "shots"!

By the way Jace is BEAUTIFUL. Joel's got it coming!! LOL!!!

  • Jace is SO cute!!!

  • what kind of breast pump do you use?

  • Medela Pump in Style

  • I wanna adopt Jacelyn because she's too damn cute and adorable and your son.

  • i think its great and admirable of you to donate your extra milk to help other babies!

  • I would love to that I guess i'll have to wait and see if I can when I have a baby. Would you give your child breast milk from other people if you couldn't breast feed?

  • I jsut wanted to spread the word to people who don't know, Australia is making homebirthing illegal as of 1 July next year. If you are passionate, PLEASE sign one fo the online petitions

  • Its not illegal to homebirth in Australia, no one can force you to go to hospital to have your baby but government regulations have made it impossible for a midwife to attend a homebirth and be covered or indemnified legally if anything should go wrong.

So basically, no midwife in his/her right mind would attend a homebirth in Australia because if something went wrong during the birth, the midwife would be personally liable.

  • as of July next year attending a homebirth will be punishable by up to 7 years jail and or $30,000 fine as well as a $30,000 fine for the parents

  • in the united states?

  • No not in the United States!

  • in Australia if this new law passes. We are protesting hard against it though

  • So if the mother simply leaves it too late to go to hospital and gives birth at home, she will be thrown in jail or fined?

This country is going to the dogs. I'm moving to New Zealand!

  • no, you are right, it is only midwife attended homebirth that is affected, freebirth is an option, often not the optimal one but one that lots of women will be considering.

I agree, NZ is the way to go

  • I tried to find a milk bank when i had my daughter but couldn't find one at the time, they are becoming more popular in australia now.

  • thats really cool!

and oh your daughter is adorable! growing up too fast haha!

  • i should try that . my breast fill up wayy to fast .

  • I wish I could do something like that...I just had my son a little over two weeks ago and i've already lost my milk :-(

  • I agree with you! Breast milk is a precious gift! It´s so great that you donated your milk!

And a little off topic: It´s amazing how big Jace is! She doesen´t look like a baby anymore! And she is sooo pretty!

  • Nope it was just overnight it seemed, she all of a sudden took on this "toddler" look. Sad thing is, she's not even 1 1/2 yet!!!! Every time some goes to comment on her in public they guess her age, and usually say 2 1/3-3 yrs old, and of course my jaw drops, like what?!?! no way! She's only 1!!! She just turned 17 months old this week, and I can't believe how fast time has passed us by it seems like.

  • What doesn't help is the fact she not only looks like a 2 yr old but behaves like one and is the SIZE of one! I feel so cheated of my "baby" time with her, she grew up too quickly!

Joel & I both agree'd we will not push Kacen to reach milestones early, but will simply just let him figure things out for his own. I never want him to grow up 'too fast'.

  • I remeber the same thing happened with my sister! One morning she woke up and didn´t look like ababy anymore! Now she is five and people usually guess her to be 6 or 7! But that feels different for a mom I guess!

It really is amazing how quickly tzhey grow up! In the videos about your babyshower she still looked like a baby!

But even thjough she grew up, she still is sooooo cute!

  • The shower was in March, so it's been a few months, but obviously not long enough for such a change as what it appears she has taken.

  • That´s what I meant! She has changed so much, it seems that it´s been longer than just 3 and a half months!

  • wow jace is getting big shes super cute and rissamissa1 ur an idiot for thinking its gross its a beautiful thing that lucy is doing and ur just plain stupid grow up

  • never knew people did that... its good that u're helping out

  • rissamissa1 WOW!

Lucy how sweet and kind. I really learned something news. My best to you and your family.

  • that is gross i'm not subscribing anymore

  • How the hell is it gross? And why would you unsubscribe just because she's willing to help those in need of breast milk for babies?

  • it's actually not gross at all. it is truly a beautiful thing to be able to give something so special to precious babies that need it.

  • Wow. Really? Grow up.

  • wow .

    rude much ?

  • donating breast milk is not 'gross'. it's an amazing gift and very selfless of Lucy to do. if unsubscribing is all you can do to protest then let it be.

  • Wow. Really? Grow up.

  • That is not gross at all! There are many babies that breastmilk can benefit. It is much better for preemies and sick babies to get breastmilk because of the antibioties which makes their immune system stronger, antibiodies formula does not have. Some babies don't recieve their mothers for some reason, and people like lucy are so kind and wonderful to take their time to do this. you obviously don't know anything about it. You're just rude and ignorant.

  • That was completely irrelevant.

  • Are you kidding? Are you a mother? Staving and sick babies are only so lucky to have ppl like Lucy do things like this!!!

  • The World Health Organization recommends that babies be fed, in order of preference: 1) at the breast, 2) via expressed breastmilk, 3) with pasteurized, screened, donor breastmilk from an accredited human milk bank, and as a last resort, with 4) artificial baby milk, or infant formula.

  • Hey Lucy i thought u saID u had more videos u have already done and havent uploaded them r u going to i know ur busy lol well pl try to get back to me lol

  • What is pasteurized breast milk? How do they do that and does it take away any nutrients?

  • okay she is doing mothers and babies a favor by DONATING MILK

  • wow jace look so pretty and u are so kind lucy

  • That's really sweet of you!

  • aww that's so sweet of u i have a question what is ur nutrition/diet lke that ur able to produce that much milk

  • lots of veggies, protein, & tons of water

  • thank u my dear ur always replyng back thank u

  • Thats a hell of a supply, its such an amazing inspiring thing you are doing lucy.

  • I never heard of milk donation. You have a big heart. Your kids are or will be so proud of you. Your daughter looks so big now. its been a while since we seen her.

  • You are so cool for doing this! x

  • Jace is so beautiful, she has really grown!

  • omg lol i never had that much milk with my son you also have the look at this look on ur face when your holding the bags of milk hope u don't think i'm rude

  • hi i live in australia and we only just opened a milk bank i think its a great idea good on u girly

  • That is such a great cause! I haven't heard of the milk banks before this video. that is so cool..thanks for sharing and for donating to baby's in need :o)

  • Ha! I wish I produced that much milk. Im still Bfing but I never had that much milk. Would you say you produce more than you did for Jace?

  • Nope the same

  • You're so nice! btw, Jace is so big and cute!

  • Thats really wonderful!!

  • i agree what a lovely gesture

  • aww jace is getting so big!!! good luck with the milk bank!! what a great idea. i never heard of it before.

  • That is so nice of you.Your too nice.

  • that is so awesome of you to do Lucy!!! :)

  • You are such a good person for donating all of that. I had personally never heard of women being able to donate their breastmilk until you made this video. So I thank you for bringing this to everyone's attention so hopefully many other women will donate as well. There's so many babies that need it!

  • Hi Jace, that was so sweet of you to do

  • Thats very awesome that you are doing this!!

  • aw jace is siiii cute! i cant wait for my babygirl to get here already! lol

  • Lucy, are you eating anything specific that's helping to increase your milk supply? How many ounces are you able to pump in each session? It's so kind of you to donate :)

  • Wow, Lucy! What a great thing to do!

  • man jace is getting so BIG!!!

she is looking so much like joel!!!

    how are y'all doin?

thats so great of you to do also!!!!

has joel gotten a new job?

    hope everythings good!!!

  • I also have a oversupply of breast milk and had looked into how I can decrease my supply, and donating it was an option I came across the internet. I only found milk banks in the US; I'll have to check if Canada has them. I'm really proud of you for doing something so amazing!!!

  • U might check with our bank, they accept from Canada with no cost 2 u.

  • I think what you're doing is wonderful!

  • Some info, incase adoptive moms are interested.

Adoptive mothers can breastfeed even if they havent given birth themselves. Using a brestpump for 15mins on each side every few hours stimulates the hormones required to breastfeed and after 2-4weeks of doing that the mother can then breastfeed as if she had gone through a pregnancy and given birth herself.

On a funny and cute note, if a man does that he can also lactate allowing shared feeds between mom and dad.

  • Oh my .... that is so incorrect. I don't even know where to start....

  • That doesn't always work, but some women can.

  • tat's so nice of you

    ur daughter is gorgeous

    good luck

  • THANK YOU

  • Wow, how awesome. What is your secret to your over abundance of milk? Also, what type of pump do you have? I am stocking up when I go back to work but I would love to donate my extra.

  • WoW Jacelyn is getting so big... I love her hair and Bow :o)

  • THANK U

  • wow i wish i had that much milk sometimes i wonder if my son is getting enough.... and how long did it take you to pump that much milk?

  • that's so sweet of you to do. i miss breastfeeding my son i stopped at around 8 or 9 months.

    take care

    -Maricela

  • THANK YOU
