I hate it when bells (especially not English) are rung in totaly random formation. In my opinion, if you are gonna ring, ring something nicer not this awfull Cling Clang!

I'm sorry (im fragle with a new account) just the raising of the bells sounded really random and clancky. i juts dont really like those electric swinging foreign bells
i think this must rather dangeres, at least with change ringing you are far away from the actual bells but this style must be much closer to the original method

I have now learnt to respect foregn bells (im fraggle by the way) many are swung by electric motors are they not?

In Italy many bells are swung by motors: fortunately in some places they aren't!
Barga, Bologna, Gargnano, Verona, Piano di Sorrento are some examples that you could find the on YouTube.
In my videos (I ring bells in Canton Ticino, a region of Switzerland) you can often find bells rung by people and not by motors.

This is the Lucchese system. It's very similar to the Bolognese one, which you can find in several videos.

German bells, for example, sound always randomly, but they are often beautiful.
Can you try to hear bells of Konstanz (there is a video here on YouTube)? They sound randomly, but beautifully!
In Italy there are many rings of bells that are not rung randomly, for example bells of Verona, Bologna, Varese, Bergamo.
However, bells in Rome and Florence are rung like in Germany. In Italy are rung in much ways! Excuse me for my English!
