hello mate,,,thts a wonderful collection of oompauls most of these pipe design hold a considerable amount of tobacco,,nice hat by the way,,,great as usual
Thanks Tim for showing the difference betwwen those two pipes. I would love to get a large Oom Paul oneday. Same shape as that Upshall (sp). I will have to see what i can find on ebay, thankyou again Tim :)
I love that Peterson "Rathbone", as indeed I love most romantic, retro-looking Petersons; but it is a full-bent, not an oom-paul. By definition, an oom-paul's shank is almost parallel to its bowl. A full-bent is at a 45-degree angle.
Oom-pauls used to be a rare shape, because of the difficulty in drilling the smoke duct at such a closed angle. Now one sees more and more of them, because it is easier to make them in the larger shapes now fashionable.
I enjoyed the video again. I'm not sure ifPfeifenKasten meant you have a big mouth or the pipes weren't really all that big! Either way, I got a chuckle out of it. As for the Nightcap from yesterday, it is one of my favorite tobacco's. I bought a pound in bulk last time I found it at a tobacconist. I also like the My Mixture 965. I hope they start making them all again........Best Wishes,
Well, they (the Orlik company) still makes MM 965 and EMP, and they're not going to discontinue it. The only problem is the distribution - it has ended in the States (and maybe elsewhere too). It'll still be around in Europe.
@Pipepoet, Thank You. I was unaware of this. I will try for some MM965 elsewhere then. I really didn't like it originally, then over the last year it has grown on me very much.
We're all well. Thank you very much! I'm looking forward spring, perhabs making a video outdoors with Jess and Bastian. I think there is enough space for a third pipe in your mouth :) The pipe you're smoking i like best.
Great video. Oom Pauls are my favorite shape

Hello mate,
Your not wrong, they all hold a good amount of tobacco. The hat was a gift from my mother. I'm glad you like it.

I was confused about this too, but a short correspondence with the Orlik company got me on the right track! I'd be very sad to see the MM 965 go ...
I really hope you find a supplier!
