  • Thank you for sharing the video. You reached to the level which not many poppers cant do. You are creative and have your own style. Keep it going. :)

  • WHAT TRACK???!!

  • It aint your style , its your flavor on top of someone elses dance.

  • next time i come to visit my family in LA I'm coming by for lessons, and i think you mentioned somewhere in the comments that cyphers are available as well?

  • good

  • what track?

  • This blew my mind...

  • what's the song/beat called?

  • Look, I'm sure you have hundreds if not a few thousand positive comments posted throughout your videos (Hell, part of my original comment was very positive! I may have been wrong about the planning but as I said before, it was masterful.) Jeez, one critical comment and there goes the neighborhood! Relax. Its just criticism. The world will keep spinning and life will continue on.

  • Still think this session sucks though. :)

  • @Weehawk793 Thanks for the feedback! Put something up better so I can learn something from you! lol

  • @Weehawk793 I respect you. However, I just wanna ask you this question, do you know what is poppin? :)

  • Why dont you hit?

  • i can say those were one of the best 3 minutes of dancing ive ever seen

    big thanks

  • @Medbrat123 Its interesting that someone can think this sucks, yet another can think this is great! That is art for you! All you can do at the end of the day is be you! If you try to please everyone you will fail every time!

  • @JRockABMCrew I personally love this solo, I wouldn't have shared it if I didn't...there are things about this solo...feels, styles, and movement that I really was really satisfied with. Some feels don't require hard hits, its more about flow, looseness, connecting movement, transitioning styles...there is a method to my madness!

  • @JRockABMCrew i really liked it, mixing up styles makes new styles which i d never think of, thanks to you i can see how it may turn, it turns really in a great way. U use so many new (to me) moves unexpectedly and this makes the routine so lively. Thanks one again, its just a big pleasure watching all this stuff.

  • JRock do you consider G-style a style of popping?

  • @TheArtificialCloud No, I do not. It's just a crew. If you do your research, you will find that before Slick Dogg created GStyle crew...there was just the Pomona Style of WAVING. Waving is a style, Pomona had it's own flavor that was created by NoBone Tyrone. Darryl Stokes became the best at it IMO, and then Slick Dogg started a crew called GStyle in which he taught Stokes and NoBone's moves..these moves ARE NOT GStyle, they are Pomona Style Waves. Thats my two pennies.

  • @JRockABMCrew Sir, my apologies. Your comments are well stated and and understood. I stand very much corrected!

  • Check out the "JRock" video of his. His Style was far better, more relaxed and free flowing than in this video. In the "JRock" video he moves without thinking, the masterful artistry is effortless. Fantastic session. In this video, he's carefully planning each move, thinking far too much and in doing so his "style" falls far short of what he is capable of. Very disappointed in this session. He's better than this.

  • @Weehawk793 The only person that knows what someone is thinking...is that person! Actually, in the JRock for AJ clip...I danced 5 or 6 times to the same song...I planned certain styles and movements to certain parts of the song. It was a dedication solo, so I wanted it to be perfect! In this clip I am not planning any movement! Just dancing. Its a matter of preference and opinion on what you like. You like slow, relaxed movement...where as someone else likes hard dynamic movement!

  • At the end of the day, nobody knows my art better than me! I have improved in so many areas since the JRock for AJ clip. I am grateful that I am able to keep doing this dance and fine tune my style. As a dancer you have to be versatile, I work on variations of feels, styles, techniques, etc. If you really want to see "my best" come get down in club cypher with me sometime...thats the REAL SHIT. The studio sessions are nothing in comparison.

  • @JRockABMCrew Do you know of anyone teaching Foundation in the Houston area?

  • @TheArtificialCloud Same question for the Seattle area?

  • Getting better J Every dancer has a Finger print Kind of like there DNA this comes with many years of learning and training, eventually Dancers find there nitch and a whole new style kicks in. When this happens technique is less important feelings and emotions take over, that is when your dancing, your getting their, I'm proud of you , keep up the good work.
