These are people who are the MOST needy and vulnerable. What kind of a society are we? I can't even get home health for my severe Traumatic brain injured husband. His SSDI will always put him slightly above the poverty cut off for any medicaid help. So I care for him alone.I can't work because he can't be left alone. He would have qualified for Intermediate level Long term Care but NC just cut that out of the budget Fall 09.

IT's sad. I work for Bayada...home health care in NC. It's not right. Would cost medicaid MORE to keep these people in hospital/facilities.
