  • The Casio Exilim Ex F1 shoots at 60fps at full res for one second =\

  • cant say its the fastest actually.

    nikon d3

and EOS 1D Mk III are quicker i would say

  • did he die?

  • Well, looks like I'm turning into one of *those* people who actually care about stupid technical points like this, but!

Canon New F-1 High Speed (1984): 14 fps.

Woohoo, once again, digital cameras still haven't caught up to what 35mm cameras were doing decades ago. :D

  • I've yet to see canon DSLRs with features like eye-focusing too. I love it on my EOS 3.

  • Film cameras have given up trying to do instant review!

  • Comment removed

  • yes but to be fair would you really wanna shoot a film camera at 14fps??? flim would be gone in under 3 seconds lol. and digital has caught up quality wise. finally

  • @DemonicGenocide lol? u do realize video cameras use 100+ fps sensors right?

  • ??? so? when the hell did I mention video cameras? lol

If you're replying to my comment about FILM cameras (not video) I was replying to someone saying that an old film camera of theirs could shoot at 14fps. Why would u use that when you only have 36 shots per roll of film. It just eats the film up lol.

I can see why you didnt understand me though... film not video. Still film.

  • @DemonicGenocide phahah sorry m8 xD

im so not used to hearing FILM nowadays..

  • @nerxboy lol indeed. Believe it or not it's still used by lots of people. mainly proffessionals. I use it myself for image quality etc. Digital has caught up with 35mm now as far as overall quality is concerned... but not 120mm... yet. (other than the £25k Hassleblad digital cameras lol)

  • @DemonicGenocide yea well fuk hassel... thats too much.. 1ds mk3 would be good enough ty xd

  • @nerxboy. Ya... I would love one. the quality is un beatable and the resolution... well the latest model (H4D) has a medium format sensor (over twice the size of full frame) and a resolution of 60 megapixels lol. but alas... you are very right. waaaaay to expensive lol

  • D3's got 11fps???

  • thats in crop mode and if u read the instructions on the d3 it cant auto focus in crop mode

  • 1D3 is 1.3 crop?

D3 can do FX 9fps with full auto focus + 3d tracking?

  • Yes the d3 is full frame but it has a 1.5 crop factor option. in the crop mode it cant autofocus

  • yes it can

  • have u used one before

  • well I have one so yes.

  • the flash is firing faster than the camera... either that or the camera has very very slow fps.

  • uh.... or a VIDEO CAMERA...

  • EX-F1 can do 60 shots per second.

  • But that's not a DSLR.

  • i though some cameras can do like 5000fps

  • thats video not still burst photos

  • define the difference. 'video' just means: a lot of still images in a row (besides the fact that it means 'I see' in Latin).

the brandaris 128 (see my channel) can reach up to 25 MILLION fps, with a maximum of 128 frames per video. there is only one camera thats faster, but it can only capture like 4 frames or so. is the brandaris a video camera while the other cam is not?

i think you cant really say.

  • Well I don't really know much about film and photos and stuff but I know that 60 pictures of film is of far lower quality than that of 60 individual photos. For example tha casio exilim ex-f1 takes 60fps burst photography at high quality while it can take 1200fps video with far reduced resolution and quality.

  • the video cameras..

  • Actually I'm pretty sure the D3 is 9 fps.

  • it can do 11 fps.. but canon 1d mark III is 11 fps .. so both are same standards.

  • wrong

  • No offense, but if you wanna ruin your flash, just run it through that sequence a few more times and the bulb will go eventually.

Firing the flash more than 50-60 times in 1 session will ruin it.

  • but it has no mirror which has to be moved up and down, so EPIC FAIL

  • @Air50HE actually yes it does... so epic fail for you. do some research dipshit

  • @thisthatotherone21: It has an EVF which stands for ELECTRONIC VIEW FINDER, so NO MIRROR. The only moving part is the aperture, and when zooming or focusing, the lens. Epic fail for YOU.

  • @Air50HE its a canon 1d series camera. its taking pictures. a canon 1d series body is a dslr. Follow? (or is that too complicated for you?) a dslr (DIGITAL SINLE LENS REFLEX) is a camera that uses a *MIRROR* to duplicate the image seen through the lens in the VIEWFINDER. every time the camera takes a picture, that MIRROR moves up out of the way of the sensor, allowing the frame to be captured. EVERY TIME... Maybe gain some knowledge of photography equipment before you try to call someone out.

  • @thisthatotherone21: i was talking about the DSCW H9. maybe you didn't see my original comment was an answer to bobeyes, who was talking about that camera. i own a EOS 5D so i know what a dslr is.

  • @Air50HE Ahah. well that was hidden so I didnt see it... sorry for the confusion.

  • @thisthatotherone21: my mistake, no problem.

  • Not the fastest in the world, to be pedantic Photec are making ones that are literally (not exaggerating in the slightest) a million times faster. Scary stuff. The 1D is still probably the fastest SLR though

  • :-)

  • my 400D only does 3 FPS, but when i get an external flash ill try something like that too :)

  • its not the fastest one any more ;-) its the Casio EX-F1 that can shoot at 60FPS :-D

  • Forgot to say, the camera looks like the new Canon 1D Mk3. Anyone want to buy me one? :-)

  • The flash was probably on 1/128th power. II guess this as it lasted for so many flashes with no additional power supply. Any decent modern flash can handle that, even my Canon 540EZ's do.

  • woah how did the flash take that much punnishment?

  • OMFG!
