  • The funniest thing about the video? It was on Fox News, and people still believe it.

It violates a few laws of physics, I won't lie... Mostly the one about conservation of energy - you can't create energy out of nothing, and so you can't power a car on *just* water. You'd need a battery to do electrolysis to turn the water into HHO, in which case, it'd just be more efficient to run your car on electricity instead.

  • Did the illuminati kill this guy off yet? Supposedly they poisoned Stan Meyer for his back in the 1980's.

  • Ic engines can burn propane....stick that up your debunkin ass! HHO gas will and does work fine to use as a fuel in a ic engine.

    Think!

  • He must have used a ton of electricity to go that 100 miles on 4 oz of water....that's the problem with Hydrogen cars, you're better off skipping the hho gas part and using that electricity to power the car directly or put in a battery...

  • @MrEnergyCzar Ding! No matter how many times this gimmick surfaces, the claims simply violate physics, and the results are NEVER able to be verified. I shouldn't be, but I'm continuously surprised how passionately people will defend misinformation, going so far as to invent elaborate conspiracy theories with murders and everything else under the sun.

'be nice if it were true though. boy do we need alternatives...

  • WE WILL SEE IT WHEN THEY CAN TAX IT!!!

  • @TheHouse230 If bet they try to tax rain water

  • It's 2012. There have been 6 years, yet we still use oil/gas to power up our vehicles, despite the fact that it's been proven in the year 2000 that burnt fossil fuels are dangerous for the environment and ultimately fatal for us.

There will always be safe uses for oil (medicinal, mechanical) so I don't see why the fuck can't the biggest part of our world give up on using it as fuel. There is the case of those who don't have enough water, even though the earth is 2/3 water... wtf ?

  • "Members of congress recently invited Teddy Cline to Washington to demonstrate his technology though he was never seen again." *Cough cough*

  • @MissTrue8Wolf sounds like BS. no idea why you guys believe it. the very principle behind the engine is physically impossible.

    *sigh

  • This guy died...and his patents belong.to the dod.

  • @freshkryp69 evidence please?

  • This video is almost 6 years old, why haven't we heard anything more about this? Maybe the oil companies deleted his existence...

  • Is the energy input required greater than the energy generated from the combustion of the hydrogen ?

  • In countries other than the United States. There are cars with engines that run on pure ethanol or natrual gas. A cheaper alternative to Gasoline.

  • why the FUCK isnt this available on cars today!? I'll tell you... 'cus the oil industry wouldnt make money then...

  • @joneilertsen HEY AS A GOVERNMENT I TELL YOU!!! do ur study do ur collage and be my slave case u have to pay 30% taxess and oil and all other taxess.. case u are my slave hahahahahahahahaha

  • @DbozenD and as i live in norway its even woorse... the goverment have taxes on everything! for example... a '2010 camaro costs 1,8 million NOK which is like $330 000usd and 250k of that is taxes... is sweden that same car costs like 260 grand... LESS than in norway. they even raised taxes on diesels now! i might just move to sweden or the US cus this crap is allmost unnbelivable... oh! and then there's the gas prices 10$ fucking! dollars per gallon!

  • @joneilertsen build your own! and sell it,

  • @joneilertsen

as usual, money. Rich people want to stay rich. World would be a lot better if transportation would be cheaper, prices of everything would drop a little bit.

  • @joneilertsen Actually they still would, because even though its burning "water" you still need to lubricate the parts. if this was implemented in cars, motor oil would cost a fortune. At the end of the day you still need a combustion engine to get the horsepower needed to push the car so they still win.

  • FAKE!!! Watch the part 1:05 - 1:12. He is blowing heat onto a piece of metal and the water "forms." Obviously, he stuck the piece of metal into a freezer and allowed a thin layer of ice to form on it; hitting it with the flame causes the ice to melt giving the appearance of water forming.

Also, the amount of energy required to sustain that flame through the electrolysis of water would be IMMENSE and inefficient. With that much electricity you would be better off welding with an electric welder.

  • this is out now i saw a thing on it on you tube this is out now

  • no matter how much gas'll cost in the future, ill always use gas in my 79 mustang.

  • every great idea starts out with ridicule, if every person who had a great idea listened to the negative we would all still think the world is flat and that the earth was the center of the universe

  • @straty01 Yes, but not every single idea is necessarily great. Electrolytic processes such as these, even if they're 100% efficient are still an energy carrier, so you'd have to obtain the energy to split the water in the first place. also Hydrogen and Oxygen are difficult to compress and store, and don't yield as much energy per unit of mass as something like gasoline. My money's on solar and the new types of high capacity batteries that are being developed.

  • Trying to implement this into the real world would result, since the engine requires fresh, distilled water to opterate, in the near immediate depletion of the already diminshing resources of Freshwater, the world, not just humans, require for existance. Think of it this way: Water is imperitive to all life. Everywhere. While Oil is a resource that, if diminished, will not effect any organisms other than ourselves; nothing needs oil to survive. EVERYTHING needs water. This will not be successful.

  • @SirRippingtonEsquire

using pure water and releasing pure water back... does not deplete world supplies. its a circle of life. BUT using oil and releasing CO2 and other pollutants IS depletion of life.

  • @SirRippingtonEsquire it can run on salt water

  • Lets see him run it just on water then if he thinks he can.

As it takes more energy to split water by electrolysis than you can get from burning it even ignoring the inneficiency of the internal combustion engine he wont get far. My guess is the batter would be flat within a few hundred metres at best.

  • I am Saudi Arabian and this video displeases me XD

  • @UltimateBokanator Thats cause you are an arab

  • Holy crap.... people will believe anything.

  • You know what such people should do? They should open the technology, make it available to anyone without bureaucracy bullshit because otherwise the creators will be silenced down by the corporations and those who are interested in keeping the world unoptimized and wasteful.

  • @ghos7bear yes. These fools think that Patents will protect them. So they can be rich like the oil barons. But the barons aren't going to share and they own the countries administrators, including the patent offices. These garage inventors' greed is there downfall and they are no different than the oil tycoons. So they deserve to be terminated by the oil industries hitmen. You want your life to mean something... Then disseminate you technology all over the internet and make it common knowledge.

  • ZOMG PLASMA TORCH! that's uh only been around since 2002? and now you people are hearing of it? check out Utashinai plant or Mihama-Mikata plants in Japan, and look into PLASMA CONVERSION. Oh, and ironically, they're planning one of those factories in St. Lucie County Florida.

  • one day,we will learn termodynamic laws of physics that are taught are either wrong or lacking. but then i'm afraid it will be too late to hinder global disaster that has been caused by global warming

  • I wish these professional youtube shit talkers would cite some of these 'facts' instead of saying "you're wrong" "no you're wrong"

  • In my country we have a similar idiot.

  • the fuel companies probably killed him

  • i don't get it

  • if this came out in 2006 why do we not have this as a standard yet?

  • @tjedic Because water is more abundant than any other consumable material on this planet and no one can make near as much money from a water industry compared to the oil industry. The oil companies likely either bought out this guy's patents and threw them in a deep dark vault or "convinced" him to forget his work. The elite do whatever they want.

  • @tube2a and that is why they are eventually going to drive us into poverty and destruction

  • This tech would bankrupt nations, thus causing an economic meltdown. Governments need the income they get from gas sales to continue functioning.

Even if this tech is made the norm, taxmen will simply find another way to drain us dry, though I think water engines would still be preferable to fossil fuel.

  • Need to marry you **busizz4me.info**

  • Very important topic. This simple technology should sky rocket. It will revolutionize how we use power.

  • This video is SOOOO misleading! NOWHERE does it give the MASSIVE amount of electricity needed to separate the water molecules for usage by his machines! He would have been MUCH better off just putting that electricity into an electric CAR! WHERE does anybody think all his electricity comes from anyway? Probably COAL! That's right COAL! DIRTY POLLUTING COAL or some other petrol-fuel LIKE OIL! This is NO free lunch people WAKE UP AND READ A BOOK fer crissake!

  • @bigisezhi Have you heard about solar power? wind power? sea power? Stop complaining you idiot.

This is the way to go and you can only say that?

How narrow minded are you? Where are you from, Texas?

  • @jaimedominguez82 Whoah? Who is the idiot now? Have you looked into ANY of these farces without resorting to the ad hominem attack? MAYBE the ad hominem is the ONLY petty GAME YOU GOT? Why don't YOU figure out the square footage of SOLAR cells required for just New York City and maybe then we'll talk you ECO-Poseur! I swear you DIM BULBS will be the only power source available if you all eventually get your way and destroy the world! How many barrels of oil are you worth when processed? Hahaha!

  • @bigisezhi Hang on, take it easy. I dont have any game.

First of all - Dim Bulbs is not a power source.

New York city is a bug hub of wasting energy (like any mayor cities).Maybe we can do same things to use less energy with no impact in our lifes while we don't generate much waste saving planet resources? Its easy to say from an ignorant point of view, the way it all goes is not sustainable , can't you see it? Its obvious! In which way are we going to destroy the world? r u mad?

  • @jaimedominguez82 I for one like nuclear. With nuclear you don't literally need to PAVE THE PLANET over with solar cells, or LIVE IN A CAVE like a caveman just to avoid getting a little power generated. WINDMILLS? Those KILL birds wholesale, and something tells me that by the noise alone you wouldn't want one towering in YOUR backyard either! Face it! If you don't want to suggest killing off about 3/4 of the human population, we need to pursue EVERYTHING and not avoid ANYTHING.

  • Comment removed

  • @jayjfadd Why did you erase the comment?

  • God came from nothing, god created universe, man everywhere listens to you

Universe is infinite>matter forms>suns form>planets form>life forms> You are the universe perceiving itself. If nothing created god, why can't nothing create the universe?

  • @ubentu i like the way you think : )

  • If you want to be real free then heaven's the place. But if hell, you have to pay much much more than if you're on earth. That's the law of GOD.

  • okay its sad to see that one of the highet rated comments is talking about reptilian aliens rulling our country... NO PEOPLE its big companies... go after the real problem. the reptilian thing is fake made up so we think we cant do anything about it because ALIENS are doing it to us... WAKE UP this is real... why doesnt every frigan car in the world run on this shit. why isnt it in the nws every day why dont we spend millions of dollars on shit like this..theres a revolution coming i can feel it

  • @p6a9u1l42 yeah. it's crazy. people are crazy. the mainstream media is so obviously full of shit that people have no problem taking insane conspiracy theories seriously. follow the money. the top 1% are the ones fucking up our lives 99% of the time! people need to get their heads out of their asses. the quickest way to two points is a straight line, not some meandering web of conspiracy bullshit.

  • I just don't get it. If we have the technology, then why aren't we using it? If all the world's cars could run on water, a renewable fuel source, we would put an end to high gas prices and global warming!

WAKE UP PEOPLE! AND MARKET THIS STUFF!

  • @MrQuader4 how to market this stuff when there are people stopping this from reality... they want to suck all these fossil fuel and control the world money... as you can see... others have to follow... we dont have the money.. thus we dont have the power to make this dream reality... unless... people around the world could share the money and idea...

  • @MrFahmifarid money is just an idea. it's what we make of it. it shouldn't control us. we should barter or create our own local money. fuck their corporate dollar, euro, whatever...

  • @MrQuader4 couldnt have said it better but i gurantee this guy has been killed and probably called a heart attack

  • just goes to show who controls this world. the greedy corporations of the world. so many great new inventions and technologies exist but the money and control hungry corporations keep them from being known. if water replaced gasoline, all those oil companies would go broke.

  • MIT have had good catalysts for the hydrogen production for a while, but now they have good catalysts for the oxygen production too. They are now working hard to commercialize more efficient electrolysers. Yay!

  • When you electrolyse water you would have to do it at about 1.2 V per cell to achieve 100% efficiency. But in reality you have to boost the voltage per cell to about 2.0 V to speed up the electrolysis to a reasonable current density. That reduces the efficiency to 50 to 60%. At MIT they have been doing good work finding catalysts to make electrolysis of water more efficient.

  • Dear Gullible Ignoramouses, Using electricity to turn water into "HHO" is at the very best 60% efficient. To power a car directly with electricity is at least 80 to 90% efficient. That is why the non-ignorant world is investing billions into electric cars. If you don't understand what I just wrote, go drink some water.

  • @sapoty I think the real "gullible ignoramous" would be the one who reads your comment and takes it for fact, you dumb fuck. Cite a reference, link a reputable website, link a video, do SOMETHING. "Oh, did you see what sapoty said? He tossed some fucking percentages around on a youtube video comment and the shit looks super legit. I bet he's a fucking lab assistant or something." If you don't understand what I just wrote, then you should go eat some shit.

  • 0:19 ok wtf

6000 K...MIG welders reach that temp. (or even higher ones) but then you have to deal with intense light produced by the electric arc...

O SHIT ITS FAUX NEWS NEVERMIND

  • Ya know that's what all Physicists and generally any classically educated person says when they see this, so then why does it work? Saw one! It worked! Yes it draws some amps from the car generator and puts a little drag on the engine. But it works. Must be looking at it wrong, Fission works too. It's meant to augment gas engine not run it. Chemical reaction and electrolysis. Must use a catalyst. Gets 50% less Gas and 20% more HP. Try it! Just make sure you do it right. Higher amps= More H.

  • Producing clean energy from hydrogen & oxygen isn't rocket science. Living long enough to get it into mass production? Move over Einstein!

  • How Cool is that!?

  • he was assasinated

  • @ajbauto denny klein was not, youre thinking of the older dude.

  • testing .............

  • test

  • Hey you sheep-minds.

It easy to talk and criticize.

Prove you assertions with experimental evidence.

  • I like the part at the end about how much they would start charging for water

  • hahaha Ridge3210 did you ever here of the water cycle????? you know when water evaporates and goes into the sky then turns into CLOUDS then it rains and starts the process all over again.

  • And yet I see no cars running on water. Hmmm...

  • If you want to figure out how much you are really paying for mileage you also have to figure how much electricity you use to convert that H2O into HHO. This video never mentioned how huch it costs him to convert that water, just how far he can go on water.

  • Yes, as far as I know the cost of converting H2O into HHO would need more electricity than HHO can create. So you need cheap electricity. If you combine this technology with a watermill or windmill, it's green energy. This would solve the waist problem with the electric cars batteries, and it might be powerfull enough for bigger engines then cars too. I think it sounds geat. Too bad he got a patent, this should be free. The gass is also known as "browns gas" I think.

  • I think Browns way of doing it is more of a brute force way of using a lot of energy for the electrolysis. I think that there are better, more efficient way to do it. Using less energy.

  • 2 H2(g) + O2(g) → 2 H2O(l) + 572 kJ

So too reverse it you need 572kJ, there is no way around this as far as I know. I guess he is just closer too this 572kJ then anyone else.

  • @moegreen2

good point on the amount of electricity

  • There's a word that oil companies already purchased the entire design (schematics, blueprint etc.) of the engine from the inventor himself. This is to prevent their companies from eventually closing down. Nice thinking.

  • It is not "water" powered it is electrolysis: separate hydrogen from oxygen, both of which are flammable. Been known for 200 years.

  • Vhat is HHO? isn't it H2O? HH should be equal to H2.

  • This kind of tech would be a dream come true if it were to really be implemented onto our cars or near future cars. That would really put Exxon and BP out of business for sure! Those punks keep jacking up gas prices since they know we need gasoline. Just make sure this inventor is still alive now and help make our dreams come true with water powered cars.

  • Yull Brown is the inventor

  • look up "browns gas" I found it on the internet and I remembered what it was called that when I saw it.

  • Would a water powered water fountain be possible? The future is awesome!

  • What happened to this technology !?

  • oh yeah The booklet said it produce mono atomic hydrogen and mono atomic oxygen

  • hey just curious whats that guys name you know the inventor of this stuff please excuse my lack of knowledge lol

  • any way the catalog had tons of info on vapor carbs and alternative energy. I also bought a set of spark plugs from them I think called star fire. They were tapered gap(think jacobs ladder) That was a cool catalog. Maybe someone knows what happened to the company.

  • As you can imagine it didn't last long. I remember some of the claims of this hho torch according to this booklet. For example you could sublimate tungsten, weld dissimilar materials, burn through brick. Pretty much this guy copied the book verbatim. So anyway there was a claim about copy right infringement in one of the previous comments. Unless this video is over 20 years old he did copy someone.

  • I checked if they were still around sadly they are not. I got books on this. I will try to remember everything it said. You need low volt (not more than 3 volts (I think around 1 volt or so.) and low amps(?) I am sure about the volts because I tried to make a hho generator from a plug in dc adaptor and I used aluminum foil as the plate.

  • Well This is hardly new. I remember ordering books from a catalog in the late 80's early 90's that had this info in it. It was from H & A Industries in Bowling Green Missouri.

  • men have been killed and locked up in institution for the insane to keep the public from knowing how simple it is. it is the most dangerous info there is . wars are made with the excuse of oil.

  • Bet he's dead already!!!

  • why dont we have water powered cars if the government has the plans to a water engine?because the fat cats at the top make to much money

  • it take more electric energy to extract hydrogen from water than the hydrogen can give back. its one of the really basics laws of physics :nothing is lost nothing is gained evrything is transformed. in other words you produce hydrogen from water with electricity.now instead of having electricity you have hydrogen that you can use to run a combustion engine. the only advantage i see into using hydrogen instead of the initial electricity is that hydrogen is way lighter than electric car batteries.

  • hes using the atomic separation, like nuclear power, not the hydrogen itself

  • @drifking911 Don't take for grant everything you hear even from the scientific community. They are also corrupted and controlled by hidden groups of immoral barely-humans. This is not a matter of faith. Before you assert something, research it, experiment it and then declare your conclusions. I am prevented there is a strong conspiracy to avert any human development outside those dark groups of criminals either hidden as rats or masked as government officials.

  • @ewolfcross Its pretty obvious that the automobile industry is manipulated by lobbyist.I had a 90 celica and now a 07 corolla and guess what the corola take as much gaz has the heavy more powerfull older technology celica.i am sure that they can make a car that run with 1/3 of that gaz easily with the technology today. But believe me hydrogen is not the solution. The best you can get with water electrolysis is 70% efficiency. and thats with the best cells. Forget about having over 100% efficiency

  • @drifking911 plus current batteries lose there charge over time, where as HHO won't.

  • @drifking911 The engine isn't complete I say...if what you say is true then there should be a self regenerating electricity source...I'm talking out of my you-know-what but I think if the initial electricity feeds the water converter and powers the vehicles engine(if that's how it works) which produces electricity through friction it can create an unlimited fuel source for vehicles...I guess? =P

  • @DynastyPercussion The only way to recuperate energy puted in a moving car is to use the brakes as dynamos instead of producing heat. if you add like an ultra high resistance alternator on the wheels it should produce electricity. But the ammount of electricity will always be less than the energy it took to bring you to that speed. And if you add a permanent system of dynamos on the engine...its simple it will just produce less energy than it took from the restriction it produce on the engine.

  • @drifking911 lol I was VERY dizzy that day so I can't really explain what I meant but I agree with you about the loss of energy.

If you can figure out how to "fill in the gaps" than you'll be rich before you even know it. =P

  • @drifking911 Ya know that's what all Physicists and generally any classically educated person says when they see this, so then why does it work? Saw one! It worked! Yes it draws some amps from the car generator and puts a little drag on the engine. But it works. Must be looking at it wrong, Fission works too. It's meant to augment gas engine not run it. Chemical reaction and electrolysis. Must use a catalyst. Gets 50% less Gas and 20% Just do it right!

  • @drifking911 Based on what? Chemically the combustion power of hydrogen is greater than the power needed to remove the bond between hydrogen and oxygen.

  • @tube2a Humm...Based on what? I return the question! There a plenty of experiments proving you are wrong. With the best hydrogen fuel cells the greatest energy ratio you can get is 80%. In a perfect scenario maybe you can get close to 100%. But over 100% is physically impossible. If you were right we could produce hydrogen run a combustion engine run an alternator that run the fuel cell....Im sorry but in my universe perpetual motion dosent exist. Get educated!!!!

  • @drifking911 Your right

  • @drifking911 and safer

  • @drifking911 Although I'm not a physisist or a chemist, I think water is like a fully charged capacitor. I think the water has the energy locked in the H and O bonds. It's a double oxygen bond right? I don't think it takes more energy to break that bond then the energy of the molecule. It may have taken more energy to put those two molecules together but I don't think it takes more energy to break them apart and then you have the expansion energy of the gas and potential comubstion energy.

  • The trick is to stimukate the water using radio waves to the correct resonant frequency - the molecules then disengage much more easily

  • The trick is to stimulate the water using radio waves to the correct resonant frequency - the molecules then disengage much more easily

  • @StewartNoble This is unlikely. Radio waves are typically too low a frequency to be energetic enough to cause homolytic bond cleavage, which is what has to happen to get the hydrogen gas. Some chemical reactions can be induced by irradiation but this radiation is usually in at least the microwave, visible, or UV region. Infrared and radio waves tend to heat things in polar liquids like water.

  • Also, I can't find anywhere where the guy lists the exact conditions under which he observed the phenomena (frequency of radiation and so on) these are critical details and many will have trouble swallowing this without a technical explanation of how the experiment is conducted.

  • @drifking911 @ 80rpm a Snow600 makes 39,000lb\ft of torque consuming 600hp worth of fuel. It's in the rpm's.

  • i made my lawnmower run on this gas :)

  • 'They' dont want anyone to be free. We are totally enslaved by reptile alien masters from a nearby star/planet that seeded teh earth / us and implanted us, and controls us.

  • @PX2012 WE ARE WATCHING YOU NOW,,,,

  • Why is it that the government always gets these things, and then it's never released? Hmmm...

  • the government WANTS us to buy gas so they can make money

  • WTFudge? I want a water powered car!

  • wow 3 years and still no water powered car

  • ...

  • i bet that guy and his technology mysteriously disapeared

  • he actually did disapear, aparently he died of liver faliure which was mysteriously when trying to sell his technology to gm, then the plans dissapeared after so called copyright claims, if this was made in england this wouldnt have happend and we would all be driving water powerd cars ,FUCK AMERICAS GOVERMENT

  • Then don't come here or leave I'll help pay for your ticket out of here. Funny how America's has been the birth place for a large majority of all technological advancements in history.....funny isn't it. It has its problems but beats the hell out of anything else.

  • a LARGER majority of inventions were made in japan, china, uk, germany, france ect... america only realy make software, hardware and madicine is mostly made in europe and japan, lol the only thing america realy does is sit back and claim the profit that there products make even know most dont even have any offiliation with the usa apart from funding, if that corrects your statement

  • yep sorry about the spelling mistakes i have sticky keys after spilling a bottle of coke all over the place lol

  • man they have been able to make water based, solar based electric cars that run smooth, and why they not out there i hear u ask lol ? well the oil companies an government wouldn't like that now would they prolonging the existence of any technology like that. Why do cars break? so u need to keep gettin new 1s get new parts etc they build every thing scarcily and never in abundence coz the less they have the more money to charge, the more of somethin they have profit decreases fuckin corrupt world

  • its all becaause gm killed the electric car they bought patents against other makers so they cant use certain more efficent batteries and they are working with oil compaines to make shure this never goes thru becasue they wil loose money NO ONE BUY GM fuck them

  • It's an oxidizing flame... the hydrogen is the only thing that's burning, and the oxygen is boosting it so it cuts through metal like a hot knife thru butter

  • again western buy this technology from poor country like philippines. water powered engine invented by a filipino 5 yrs ago! no support frm d government as always

  • Philippines???? And technology??? WHat do you mean by that?? banana leaves???

  • i would seriously back this financially if i had the money.

  • U'll be kill if you do so. So manys inventors did inventions for free energy...and they all had been killed, or has "naturally died"... Just do it for yourself, u will never have problems

  • Folks its easy. Listen, it is technically possible to install this in the majority of cars on this planet within the next year. I have seen similar reports before, from different sources that have developed engines that run on water.

What if it would happen? within a very short period of time the governments would have HUGE decreases in tax income plus all the mighty oil companies would have a big cash flow problem as well.

  • well,, you gotta give a bit to gain a bit.. but this is definitely one of the answers that will be applied in the future...near or far...

  • and out of his alternator to make the gas as it wouldnt remain hho gas in the tank it would have to be converted as you use it and it doesnt require nearly as much power to make HHO as it does to remove the H2 from the oxygen so go back to school or dont maybe just learn some physics and then have a good think about it

  • so where are these water powered cars whats the bet this guy sold his soul to the oil moguls like they did with the first hydrogen engine that was viable sold out to texaco

what these people dont realise is if they sell these types of tech to the consumer they would be sold out for 10 years with people wanting them and hey water in water out there ya go no more greenhouse emissions and as for it taking too much energy well obviously his car makes enough energy out of the battery initially

  • Using energy to make gas is less efficient that just using electricity. Arc welders and plasma cutters exist today.

As for fuel, an electric car also works better for the same reason, ICE's have horrible efficiency so all that energy you're using to make H2 and O2 gas is being wasted if you consider just storing the energy and using it with an electric motor.

ICE's convert only about 30% (upper limit) of potential energy into kinetic energy. Electric motors are upwards of 90% efficient.

  • Water is free energy which the oil companies will reject =P

  • it wouldnt be hotter than the sun. the heat from the sun would kill u instantly from outside earths atmosphere. if u had the heat of the sun on a pin head, it would kill from 100 km away. so there is no way that thing is hotter than the sun

  • You obviously have not taken ANY science class in school. Go back and finish middle school. The temperature on the surface of the sun is about 10,000 degrees Fahrenheit, while a bolt of lightning's temperature is around 50,000 degrees Fahrenheit. The sun technically isn't that hot, but because of the size and the energy inside the sun, its one big heater.

  • why does everyone reply have to be a dick? honestly, frink stop. DJjorg, when we do fusion we amplify those lasers until they're about as hot as the sun. to the pinpoint. :)

  • I think DJJorg151 was referring to the core of the sun which reaches millions of Celsius. But i don't think he realizes that the core of Earth is also millions of Celsius in heat. So basically he is saying we should all be dead right now.. but why aren't we? hahaha

  • The temperature of the core of the earth is not millions of degrees Celsius. It is thought to be only a few thousand.

  • Lol, the sun isn't that hot because the surface temperature is 10,000 degrees Fahrenheit? The core is 27,000,000 degrees Fahrenheit. The sun "technically" has to be that hot for the nuclear reactions to take place.

  • would be cool if it was on any other news channel, fox news is a propaganda madness now days a lot of the stuff they say is full of shit.

    ;s.

  • Wonder what happened to this guy?

  • I hope he is still alive.

Water engines - will mean change of economy.

  • no it won't. oil will be replaced with water....that's all

  • yeah - but water is ..well..fall from sky.

  • part of it, yes..

  • he drowned

  • LOL In his own water?

  • LOL...yeah LOL

  • too bad you need to split H2O into HHO gas and then ignite it to make H2O again, which creates the same amount of energy that was used to split it, and wastes some too igniting etc etc.

  • Build Nuclear power planets for electricity like Japan, France and Sweden produce vast majority of their power by Nuclear France 70% and China will do same soon. Nuclear power plants could produce vast amounts of this as by product splitting water into Hydrogen and oxygen of this without creating huge amounts of Co2. Remember once it is burnt it becomes water again!

  • Actually, the fusion reactors being would not emit water but oxygen and helium. Burning hydrogen would give you the same amount of energy it took to separate it from water.

  • haha think again dude..review youre chemistry, physics and Geometry dude?? .. even though if we would use water in our cars in the future it does not mean it water would multiply in our planet.. the volume of water in our planet will remain the same depending on the foreign matters entering our planet.. okeys???

  • 70% of this fucking planet is visible water, buddy....

  • Comment removed

  • does anyone ever think that maybe the future problem would be massive drop in sea level due to running on water. just thinking out loud

  • the water steams back out into the atmosphere i beleive.
