It is fascinating to hear her coming back to the "office girl blues" she somewhat started out with on "Lie Myself To Sleep" and "Things Are Tough All Over", but she now brings to the country/blues rooted songs all the sophistication she has learned through years of effort and art. She really is the most sophisticated living female singer in many ways, and right up there with the greats. She can be compared to Patsy Cline, Emmylou Harris...there are few other actually who even get close.
