@ZainR a lot of great shows have been canceled over the years because networks have no patience to let them develop. It's always about money.... "is this show making our advertisers happy?" Cause if the advertisers aren't getting the market share they're after they'll pull out in a real big hurry. In the end, entertainment isn't about "art", it's about greed, and you're just the pawn in the game.

First the Pilot was shot with the laurel you see in the video, after the show was picked up they chose to take a new laurel - i think it was the right decision.

actually this was originally a novel by zoey dean called How to Teach Filthy Rich Girls not Surviving The Filthy Rich. I read the book it was pretty good, a little to similar to the Devil Wears Prada. It should have never been turned into a show though its not strong enough, I hope the writers of the show makes some changes.

the ratings for gossip girl are pretty lower, lower than the OC ever had, the show wont get past 2nd seasons thats for sure

It doesn't matter if the season has low ratings, OTH has low ratings but its on its 6th season. The O.C. got canceled because it had such high ratings then they just went way down from there. Gossip girl will be around for a couple more seasons, I'm sure.

I look forward to this show because i just finished the book recently and the book was awesome but the cast for this sucks and the book was a little darker and by the characters she descriptive they were a lot prettier. and they were lot more harsh the Sage and Rose characters to Megan in the book and more things when on in the book than the preview showed so i hope its good or better than the book but by this preview its going to suck.
