this and ibara are 2 of the hardest cave shmups. Has ANYONE cleared this game without losing a ship!? I highly doubt it. I think it has been 1cc'd though. That alone is a inhuman feat. High skill games like these make other games look like tic-tac-toe.

This game should be called DoDonPachi Dai Ou Jou (怒首領蜂 大往生).

DonPachi and DoDonPachi are its predecessors. In other words, the earlier version of this game.

Actually, Touhou is pretty easy compared to Cave. While Touhou has more bullets sometimes, they are much more slower and are usually predictable.

Cave shooters however have extremely brutal bullet-patterns. Touhou aims for beautiful bullet-patterns, while Cave just wants to kill player.

Almost all of the shooters like this (this one's Dodonpachi Dai-ou-jou) are by Cave. Mushihimesama Futari on Ultra Mode is much worse than this; you may have already seen the final boss battle as "The hardest boss ever" or "THE HARDEST VIDEO GAME BOSS EVER!".
