I currently have the AM/FM Makita radio and am considering upgrading to the DAB Makita, my only reservation is that the AM/FM radio is so poor at picking up a signal, how well does the DAB radio compare, it only has one real function and that is to pick up a radio signal and wherever I go it's terrible and very limited (Sussex/Surrey), it's a good thing it has an AUX in port otherwise i probably would of taken it back, would really appreciate your opinion.
That's awesome! We are flat out getting any DAB work radios or car radios here in Australia. Pretty sure the DAB system we've got over here is a similar standard. DAB+ is the standard we use, I probably should of checked this radio out before typing a long winded comment :P
@TradieTrev DAB is absolutely superb, if you're able to access the technology, this Makita will be perfect for you on the job site, particularly if you work in areas where normal FM signals are patchy as DAB offers a much more robust signal. Keep us posted!
@rubble1712 You don't have these in Australia?? Thats not good. We can send one if you order it on Toolstop, however, the DAB is on a different frequency from what we have heard
