might want more water flow out of the waterfall they look to be hugging the stream and gasping for air, other then that nice job

Very nice... my husband and I are going to build a new one at our second home - my current pond and koi are at karenmac2! I love your rectangular design, this is what we are going to use. It will be off the deck so you can look over and down into it and see the fish and then another area where you can walk up and sit on the side. I have had in ground and now have above ground. I like to sit on the side rather than have to bend down to feed. thanks for sharing!

Im not sure weather you know much about goldfish in ponds but we have redone ours out and we have had the plants in it and a our waterfall running for a phew days now.We got 6 good sized goldfish yesterday from a freinds pond and today i have gave them a little bit of food and they havent eaten it, does it matter weather its different to the one my freind gave to them when he had them in his pond or shall i leave it a phew days?

leave them a few days to settle in and also if the weather has gone cooler will put them off eating

no , i take it you mean herons, if your pond is deep enough, mine is 5 ft. you wont get a problem , Herons will only walk into a shallow pond or reach over , but if its deep enough the fish can get out of the way,
