This walk with the Lord is ongoing. There are things that may convict one that don't convict another. Romans 12:2, “Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is--his good, pleasing and perfect will.” At the end of the day ones clothes do not determine ones level of salvation. If I feel a check within by Holy Spirit that what I am wearing is inappropriate, I don’t wear it.

For most of my life, i was against women wearing them but for the past couple years, i came to the conclusion that they are ok. It just depends on what and how you wear it. Modesty is the key. Because my hair grows super fast in about 3 years it will be dragging on the floor. Second question is about speaking in tongues... Praise Him brother, I agree with the video. I just don't agree that the most modest form of dress for a woman in christ is a long skirt. Reason being is I'm a former prison guard, and work with substance abuser and domestic violence victims. And a skirt or dress is "easy access" for someone full of the devil. And lust is a SPIRIT first and foremost, so like you said, it doesn't matter what you have on. And you can't reduce the desire of a demonic spirit. But good video.

Here's the funny thing. In the time of Jesus and in the time of the Old Testament, men wore either robes or in the case of Roman males, skirts. If one do research they'll find out that the first pair of pants was made about 400 years ago, the Bible is more than 2000 years old.

But whilst saying that, there should be a guideline made toward what modesty is, because modesty appears to be what an individual perceives as modest. I'm Apostolic to the BONE (P.A.W.), but in my life I've been through the spectrum of Pentecostal Churches many Full Gospel churches have the same tradition (skirts only) same with COGIC. I see merits to both sides of the argument, but I think the real issue is Biblical modesty, and the individual standards should be left to the pastors in the church, and the husbands/fathers in the home (I'll get in trouble for that last part...LOL but all well).

@ELIPOUL COGICJA, then i went to UPC cause i got stationed in Oklahoma and couldn't find any other apostolic church in my city. Then i went to P.A.W. as of now, i live in Turkey where I can only attend one church which is on base. Im COGICJA at heart.

Very informative video! Modesty is the key word here! Many sisters are wearing tight form fitting dresses and skirts to church. I guess they feel like...oh well I am not wearing pants. I agree with you...'cause I'm biased. There isn't a commandment about believers' dressing code! It's not because my Judeo-Christian culture says that tight pants on a woman's body arouses men that the statement is true for EVERYONE (For example the traditional dressing code of my country is at odds with that of the U.S. Which is the "RIGHT" one?) If God looks in the inside, I think it a shame that I have to abide by some clothing rules initially made by mere men-not humankind, males.

Raised Apostolic (PAW), then went to baptist and then became Non Denomenational. i wore pants mos the time i was in the baptist church. when i was in the apostolic church i only wore dresses and skirts only when i was at choir practice or church services, other than that i wor pants. But as i got older to the point where i could dress myself and make my own clothing decisions i went back to wearing skirts. Besides my aunt told me that because i am a so called " Heavy" girl, i would look bad

My aunt and her daughter are apostolic. I use to hate going over to they're house. I would have eto either wear a skirt or a dress.

woman shouldnt wear pants thats y belief after my grandma left the baptist church back in 74 and recieved the holyghost she stop wearing pants. her and her sisters so yes i dont think woman shouldnt wear pants or makeup

God is Blessing u brother. keep your stance. Im Apostolic as well and im dealing with the same issue. and it seems as though we look at the women and her clothes and if she is modest forgetting about our own modesty in our walk with God. Yes we should not look like the world on the outside. but more importantly we shouldnt look like the world in our hearts! God bless you

@ELIPOUL COGICJA, then i went to UPC cause i got stationed in Oklahoma and couldn't find any other apostolic church in my city. Then i went to P.A.W. as of now, i live in Turkey where I can only attend one church which is on base. Im COGICJA at heart.

I agree with you.Apostolic all my life my mom wouldn't let my sisters or her wear any pants,I see nothing wrong with women wearing skirts either ... Apostolic believe in the word saying God change not... So maybe that's why we still believe in Holiness.. I'm COOLJC and they don't preach against it that much from what I heard.

@ELIPOUL I was COGICJA and they preached against pants some times but not much. Although, they didn't look at anyone differently if they had on pants. People just don't understand that a woman can still be holy with pants on. Its all matters in how they wear them.

Very informative video! Modesty is the key word here! Many sisters are wearing tight form fitting dresses and skirts to church. I guess they feel like...oh well I am not wearing pants. This topic must be taught and demonstrated. Also to note, some little girls do not know what it is like to wear skirts or dresses. Thanks again my apostolic brother!

@magnifyhm Amen, you are correct. When we buy and put on clothes, we always have to think about modesty. If our heart is modest, we will show that modesty in our behavior as well as our appearance.

I agree with you...'cause I'm biased. There isn't a commandment about believers' dressing code! It's not because my Judeo-Christian culture says that tight pants on a woman's body arouses men that the statement is true for EVERYONE (For example the traditional dressing code of my country is at odds with that of the U.S. Which is the "RIGHT" one?) If God looks in the inside, I think it a shame that I have to abide by some clothing rules initially made by mere men-not humankind, males.

Raised Apostolic (PAW), then went to baptist and then became Non Denomenational. i wore pants mos the time i was in the baptist church. when i was in the apostolic church i only wore dresses and skirts only when i was at choir practice or church services, other than that i wor pants. But as i got older to the point where i could dress myself and make my own clothing decisions i went back to wearing skirts. Besides my aunt told me that because i am a so called " Heavy" girl, i would look bad

THANK YOU for this video!!!......I myself am brought up in an Apostolic church(I'm 20 now)...and honestly speaking I was just always told to wear skirts, I never really questioned it, until about a few months ago I actually got down and studies Duet. 22:5,. I really don't believe that it is wrong in anyway for women to wear pants, but it must be done MODESTLY..I really do believe that the Apostolic church would have allowed pants, but can you imagine what some women would come in??? o____O lol
