  • 16 Jahre später passierte die Katastrophe (1986)

  • The Soviets didn't care anything about anything!

  • Yeah what happened i Hiroshima and Nagazaki is so inhuman, just because the Japanese were defending them selves, the civilians did pay with it their lives within seconds.. Japanese should never forgive the US for this. So I will never understand when the americans when they claim they are fighting for justice and peace.... O.0

  • @beyoguz well the Japanese refused to surender even when they knew that the war was lost so the U.S.used the A-bomb, it was the first time such a bomb was used on inhabited teritory, yes it is inhumane but it promted the end of war, but yes they should have used it on some military object or fleet, but then again those were objects guarded with AA-guns, anyway Japan had some camps and laboratory´s where they tested on chinese, Koreans, Vietnamese etc. so they did exactly what Hitler did

  • @LegionnaireScout finally a smart person

  • @LegionnaireScout finally a smart person

  • @LegionnaireScout finally a smart person

  • @beyoguz

Hiroshima was justice, And produced peace.

  • @AntiLiberalRebel Would raping your mom also be justice? you stupid piece of shit!

  • Oh those silly Russians

  • Chernobyl was a terrible incident, one of what happens when higher ups don't listen to those who know better. I feel that had they done the recommended modifications to the RMBK-1000, reactors' rods in there after the 82' partial meltdown, even with the situation that occurred it possibly could have been a much better outcome.

It is a very tragic event, and let's hope we never have another one in this scale. The Peaceful Atom is a great energy bringer, but one that requires responsibility too.

  • Too early, the main bang happened 16 years later.

  • I love reading comment about american history that they never taught in school. Thank you youtube and people not from america for telling me the otherside. Damn lopsided Media and government

  • building the disaster...

  • @MrvelvetviruS how could they posibly have known that it would end like that ?

  • @LegionnaireScout It's right, I'm sorry, they didnt have a clue..

  • What do these comments have to do with this video????? I didn't know we hated the Brits. I kinda like them.

  • I laugh at every person here who has taken time out of there life to hate on america, how about you focus on your own country and it's shortcomings instead one you don't live in. America is a fucked up place, full of hypocrisy, I know it because I live here. But to try and suggest that you can blame the worlds problems on the united states is stupid and just being lazy. I don't think america should be the world police, but then again, I don't believe in female circumcision with a fucking rock!

  • @kaniho I live in the US and I agree!

  • Importantly*

  • Ok we all know almost well... A shit load of countries hate america... But most impirtantly american hates the shit out of britain. Should be an interesting war in 20-100 years.

  • @mastrdzastr us will probably win

  • Look at those happy worker doing a shittyjob causing the reactor to be unstable and cause 55.000 humans getting sick for lifetime :/

  • @predatortheme not 55000.... it increased chances of cancer generation by generation so more died from chernobyl indirectly

  • @TheNiceGuy975 I think he or she referred to the 50,000 people who were evacuated during that afternoon from the town, but I agree with you, the number is much higher when you look at the people affected in general.

  • @BMuris If you count all the villages and the like, the number of people displaced was 300k, IIRC. The Zone is littered with abandoned villages and churches and the like. Even Chernobyl City, which is becoming a rest spot for people on the way to tour Pripyat, is mostly occupied by service personnel and scientists.

  • america should get an nuke fucking drop'd on them and that means that we don't have to fucking listen to ther fucking government and how america is got problems because they fucking made them !!! and i am not saying Britain is amazing but were not the most hate'd country in the world

  • Ahhhh yes the many europeans that hate Americans blah blah blah. The truth is no matter what country the "elite, enlightened and forward thinking" european comes from they are better than and their government is better than the American government and we are all dumb hicks that know nothing about history .The major powers past and present over there have their own skeletons in their closet.

  • The funny thing is people call it Chernobyl but is really Pry'piat'

  • @Ep1cTrickshots the town is pry'piat' the reactor is chernobyl

  • Just a matter of interest but how come the conspiracy theorists havent blamed this on the government or said it was an alien experiment that went wrong etc or have they? If so i`d love to watch some videos if anyone knows of any..

  • @TheFlyingScotsman01 oh they blame this or 9/11 on somehting other than what was shown. but cannot provide proof of it. other than a snippet of somethign taken out of context Eh?

  • A Russian SS18 nuclear bomb has a radiation affect of 40 Chernobyls. The Soviets had 2700 of these ICBM's. If the Cold War would have happened could you imagine that we would be here listening to keyboard trolls bitching from there parents basements?

  • i wish knew what they were saying

  • @missrosetejano

nothing special, just telling ''yea cool we working, new cool atomic plant, we love this, hell yeaah''

  • They were so happy and excited at the future that plant was going to provide them and only 16 yeas later became their most worst nightmares. They had such pride in the city they build alongside called "Prypiat" with the residents so proud to inhabit a beautiful piece of the Russian dream and now a graveyard of irreplaceable memory and precious life destroyed.

Japan disaster recently happening, do we really want more suffering and unnecessary pain brought upon our current and future generations.

  • I like how the 2 top comments start with "Are you a fucking idiot" and "Your thinking about someone else, read my name you illiterate fucktard". YouTube is such a loving place :)

  • @vanecursino of course we are,, they are tons of things we didnt hear about until the internet and in history we are taught we are the good guys always the good guys and nothing we do is really as bad as it really is :P

  • @AngelAtomiseur contaminated with cesium? first of all, it's caesium. secondly that's not a contamination. second of all, it washes right off with a little water ;P

  • @jeremy4876 wtf haha

  • fake

  • Why are we arguing about what nuclear disaster is worse. No Nuclear Disaster is good. PERIOD. Anyone who risks their lives for mind kind in my book are hero's especially the Liquidators.

  • Soviets sucks..

  • @pepiflor USA suck!!

  • @armybioshock Everyone sucks. And day by day the people have more and more children to abuse more and more from the planet and make more and more wars. Because of this we suck.

  • there where 100.000 thousend people killed and somewone who thinks its funny whats happend i say fall dead!!! why is there radioactive factories?? because its cheap??? well fuck you bosses!!!!

  • People is still dying due to CHernobyls mistake...and the sarcophagus will endure only 5 years more...

  • What are they saying?

  • @JasonJason210

They are speaking in russian, they are just describing it ;P

  • tell that to the lats and fins

  • Years later it could of wrecked half the world.

  • These comments have nothing to do with the video at all, and they make little sense...

  • @Butterflysin sorry. he couldnt understand why some people thought nuclear industry dangers were a 'big deal', and i tried to explain that from the point of a nuclear accident refugee, or destruction of livelihood.. physical issues, and all i got in return were responses avoiding the issue with the ensueing "tell that to the.." remarks. for someone based in 'social' ideologies he sure is ignorant to the effect of nuclear disaster on the masses.

  • ale órwaó

  • I don't know what the big deal is. There are thousands of nuclear power plants in the former Soviet Union and abroad.

  • @toqtaqiya you would if you sunk everything you worked for your entire life, on a nice pasture in pripyat.. or better yet your a farmer in sendai that not a country on earth will buy your stock anymore and your broke.. or your children are born without arms.. or when they got you spread eagle with a probe in your ass seating radioactive seeds through your taint for your prostate.. youd care if waterford or river bend went, or grand gulf-1 in Ms, or any of the 4 in tx.

  • @carpetmonk Tell that to the Vietnamese and the Koreans you napalmed, you stupid piece of crap.

  • @toqtaqiya you live in new orleans you retard, unless your a liar. thanks for the laugh, i cant believe you resorted to propaganda when the topic was nuclear power. i will not assume your origin, despite your 'handle' or your choice of videos you watch and your apparant 'hurt pussy' dealing with this topic.. why dont you come clean and let us all know where you live, and ill give you a history lesson, and not just the conflicts that were photographed or used in propaganda films. your hilarious!

  • @carpetmonk Tell that to the hundreds of thousands killed in Hiroshima and Nagasaki.

  • @toqtaqiya you seem to skirt around the issue here, once again just taking a shot at america. so, are you a self hating american in louisianna, or foreign and making a living off La. oil, or an equal part in indian killing north american canadian, maybe a little french in there, hmm.. vietnam in the 50's, heard of that? or a soviet,(dont even get me started on that history) in canada. ill be very disappointed if your just a poli-sci student. your a capitalist and dont even know it. get a grip

  • @carpetmonk Tell that to the Indians and the Buffalo your noble country wiped out.

  • @toqtaqiya oooooooooook ill play.. i know you are but what am i

  • @carpetmonk Tell that to the blacks you enslaved for over 200 years.

  • @toqtaqiya man, you are a horrible example of yuor movement, and such a coward you cant intelligently return any of my points. so did your mother pass her mental retardedness on to you? or did the best part of you run down the side of your mothers leg onto the bedspread.. or perhaps you were made of corroded sperm? do marxism a favour and let educated people speak for it, and stop embarassing your compatriots.. oh wait.. thats freedom of speech (pssst.. i wont tell the secret police.. promise)

  • @carpetmonk Tell that to the Iraqis and the Afghans you killed.

  • @toqtaqiya they already knew about your momma. tell that to the 7,000,000 ukrainians you killed in the 30's

  • @carpetmonk More like 2 million. And they weren't killed.

  • @toqtaqiya tell that to the 1.2 million afghan civilians you killed. (and yes thats an AVG of how many ukrainians were murdered)

  • @carpetmonk Tell that to the Mexicans.

  • @toqtaqiya tell that to the georgians

  • @carpetmonk You proved that you're just another sacrastic nazi American dumbass. You wanna keep going?

  • @toqtaqiya actually i felt that i made a good point that all government indescriminantly murder to keep thier upper echelon in power. (ie the brezhnev doctine.) and not just americans. but if you wanna continue saying things like "nazi" i will keep going until the stars burn out. what do you expect? any human, no matter thier nationality, to just back down? we endure. all earths blood soaked ideologies are guilty, so we are all part of the same hipocracy bub.

  • @carpetmonk Check out my videos about America. And tell that to the Colombians. I can do this forever.

  • @toqtaqiya i dont need to, i know the dirty history of my country.. and yours, and the countries that implemented marxism as well. marx had interesting points, but considering communism as the peak of his socio-economic conflict evolution of politics was very short sighted. yeah, the communists wiped thier ass with south america long before us, and they are still horribly poor, including columbia. tell that to the hungarian republic.

  • @carpetmonk Tell that to the Spanish.

  • @toqtaqiya which spanish, the fascist spanish killing thier own people at home, or the colonial power that bled thier your south and central americans into obscurity? tell that to the czechoslovakians.

  • @carpetmonk Tell that to the Ossetians and the Georgians.

  • @toqtaqiya tell that to the hundreds of thousands of people living with deformities right now. you weren't the one born with eye cancer like my cousin so maybe you should STFU! Americans..... think they know everything

  • @britishblues Am I supposed to believe your bullshit Mr. Togo?

  • @britishblues I am American and do not think I know everything. I do know that the victims of this disaster are still feeling the effects to this day and I am greatly sorry. We also almost had our own meltdowns, thankfully they didn't or those "ignorant" Americans you speak of would know first hand the incredible pain and suffering the victims endured and still do. All in all, I hope nothing like this ever happens again, but with human nature it is inevitable that it most likely will.

  • @toqtaqiya you cant talk to dead people.

  • @toqtaqiya . it was planed. u cant tell the gov what is right/ wrong, during the 1950's, still cant today.

  • @avalonway62 Um...this happened in 1986, not the 1950's dude. History, read some.

  • @lisshumblegenius i didnt say it happen in the 50s. re-read message. dude

  • @toqtaqiya japan asked for it, they fucked with the u.s. and then they got fucked themselves

  • @mogeura Are you a fucking idiot? "They asked for it!?" Are you fucking serious? What about the hundreds of Children who was not even old enough to understand what was happening? Or the 55,000 INNOCENTS? And yeah of course they massacred you at Pearl Harbour, you cut off their Oil with no explanation! Way to go at setting a brilliant example of Americans to others you idiot. Do some research before posting such idiotic comments you dumbass.

  • @EnragedGoat No are you a fucking idiot? You started all this shit and got in a fight and then talked shit about what the U.S. did in our previous wars. Tell me were your from, the military isn't fucking perfect OK? It's life, shit happens get used to it. And don't call me an idiot because theres shit you don't know either. I'm done fighting with some punk on the internet.

  • @mogeura Your thinking about someone else, read my name you illiterate fucktard. Im not the guy you was arguing with before. And the British Military isn't perfect, but NO Army has done worse than what you did to Hiroshima. Now im not going to bother replying to some trigger happy "punk" as you say. And "thats life!?" Really? Way to set the bar in intelligent comments you dumbass, im not replying to you if your next comment is as stupid as this one. You set a GREAT image for Americans haha!

  • @EnragedGoat I have to amit, you beat me. Congrates to you, but I have one last thing. There are alot of assholes like me in your counrty too. Remember that when you talking to a guy like me again in a different country. No one is perfect. Oh, and sorry I can't read your names.

  • @EnragedGoat So basically you just justified the Holocaust by stating that "no army has done worse". I could just as easily make jokes about Europe and how you have had your problems. Now, your comment (coming from an American) makes you seem just as much of an ass as the person you were replying to. In reality, America could have firebombed Tokyo into oblivion, killed four or 5 times as many people, and drawn the war out much longer. I would also like to point out the Air Force dropped the bomb

  • Comment removed

  • @EnragedGoat I'm not trying to start anything, or trying to argue with you, but Japan did try to take of Asia, killing millions of innocent people, and some (NOT ALL) militants of the Japanese army raped and beheaded many people, more than Hiroshima and Nagasaki combined. To me, our intervention in that was worth stopping the onslaught. One again, I do not want to argue or cause a fight, this is only my opinion.

  • @EnragedGoat why are you so enraged? is being a goat really that bad?

  • @EnragedGoat Im sorry, I dont mean to be disrespectful but you should really take your own advice and do some research yourself. During the Sino-Jap and second World War, the Japanese were responsible for committing the most atrocious war crimes known to mankind. Pumping peoples veins with air to determine the onset of embolism, they would infect people with bio chemicals and germs like Glands, Bubonic Plague, Syphillis, and then they would perform operations on these people without the use of

  • @EnragedGoat anesthetics. They did this to ensure that the test results would not be contaminated. They would also do such things like remove peoples stomachs and attach to various parts of the body, attach limbs on opposite sides of peoples bodies, they bombed whole Chinese cities with bio chem weapons, they forced millions of Chinese and Korean women to have sex with the Imperial soldiers. Girls as young as 7 years old, raped by a mob of Japanese soldiers, day after day.

  • @EnragedGoat The bombing of Nagasaki and Hiroshima was debated thoroughly before using them. We even told the Japanese that we would use them if they should choose to not surrender. Those 2 bombs that vaporized less then 200,000 saved millions and millions and millions of both Allied ad Japanese lives that would have been gauranteed lost had an invasion of the mainland of Japan (which was to be called X-Day - the largest military invasion of a country in human history) actually taken place.

  • @EnragedGoat So you see, while the results of those two bombs were devastating they were not unjustly used. War is never going to be pretty, but the simple bald truth is that war is causalities. The end really did justify the means in this war. Im sorry, but you and many in this world just dont know enough about the second World War and the Japanese government to give a real respectable opinion on the topic.

I am also not defending the United States morality, so please dont think im just bias.

  • @EnragedGoat And the League of Nations put sanctions on Japanese oil because it was to cut off their war machine that was aggressively invading Manchuria and Chinese territory. The Japanese were invading all of Asia and were teaching their children in schools that their race was superior to all others and that they deserved Asia because only they were worthy of it, and that all others were not even to be considered human. The Japanese were scum during this time period. Please do research.

  • @EnragedGoat The Japanese were also developing weapons of bio chem to use against the U.S. and the Soviet Union. To the Japanese it was their only hope of defeating these two countries. As a result the U.S. chose to drop the bombs also because of this. Because they had warned Japan that they would use them if they continued on their path to develop these weapons to use against our citizens and soldiers. Following the end of the second World War, the U.S. offered General Shiro Ishii, who

  • @EnragedGoat developed Japans secret bio chem weapons unit in Manchuria (Unit 731, etc., etc.), the U.S. offered him immunity from prosecution for war crimes if he would hand over all of the medical data the Japanese collected. The U.S. did this because it was a rare look into this insight and feared that the oncoming threat of war with the Soviets would lead them to develop weapons of bio chemicals to be used against Americans.

The war was fucked up, but those two a bombs - Japan did deserve.

  • @eanielsen123 First off i will apologise for my younger brothers remarks, he is rather fond of diving in without checking the water levels. But i am a Soldier, and i guarantee Hiroshima is worse than anything Modern day. What you have said is correct. And more or less they did War crimes to rival the Nazis. But no one can justify the bombs. But im sure if you was one of the innocents who survived and still suffered the radiation effects to this day your outlook would be different.

  • @EnragedGoat I can justify the bombs, quite easily. Japan won't surrender, and must be defeated. Bomb two cities, kill 100,000+ civilians; or launch a land invasion which will lead to the deaths of 2,000,000+ civilians, 1,000,000+ Japanese soldiers, and 750,000+ American soldiers. Are both options horrific? Yes. Is the nuclear bomb a despicable product of military science? Yes. But the nuclear bombings served their purpose - save lives by forcing surrender quickly.

  • @XthorgoldX i don't believe i read that...

  • @XthorgoldX that is horrible. there is no way to justify nuclear bombs. or killing 2,000,000 Innocent people no mater what. do you know what happens to a person who gets radiation poisoning, I am guessing not so I will tell you. your bodies molecules deform witch mutates your bodies sells witch can lead to cancer or more likely death. also peoples DNA can deform witch in most causes will make there offspring medically retarded or even mutated.

  • @toqtaqiya there asians there's too many of them anyway

  • The bomb had to be tested and the war had to come to an end... How many people would have died if the the US never dropped the bomb and they invaded japan? Over 2 million def..

  • @sebbeseb88 That's the American side of the story Mr. Sweden.

  • SO SHUT THE FUCK UP.

Those who say "only 50 people died" You have been terribly miss informed, and I seriously wish you would do some proper research on the Liquidators, without them, we probably wouldn't be here, They risked their lives for us.

  • @ohgoditsjames94 Of course we'd be here without them. But still, they fought heroically to minimize the damage as much as possible.

  • @CubaEmbajTV

Erm, IF it was not for the liquidator's draining the bottom pool, and the miners digging and helping fill it up, almost all of Europe, Asia would of been destroyed. City's, town's, villiage's over 500km away from the plant would of been destroyed had the material hit the water. The explosion would of been 4-6MEGA Tons! Hiroshima and Nagasaki bomb's were 13-18kt and 21kt respectively.. That is a hell of a lot of difference!

  • @ChrisMDSmith79 Right - somehow I doubt a 4 megaton explosion would occur. And even then, Europe wouldn't be destroyed - may I know what your sources are?

  • @CubaEmbajTV u can believe what you want but its right here and in the following parts of the documentary watch?v=zByDY-nPNJc&NR=1

  • @domitianus I thank you - will watch later

  • @CubaEmbajTV

There have been many many documentaries about and they ALL say the same thing. Had the melted radioactive waste (as ALL of the fuel rod's had melted and are in 3 big solidified piles) carried on melting through the concrete and hit the water below it would cause a catastrophic eruption that the initial blast would hit towns and cities 500km away, before the mushroom cloud would cover all of Europe.

  • @CubaEmbajTV

The radiation from the initial blast covered all countries from Iceland to Spain, from Ireland to Mid-Russia, down into Asia. All of that from just the equivalent of a 2kt blast.. IF you knew anything about science, you would know that adding ANYTHING nuclear to water causes a catastrophic nuclear event. Take the first section of the periodic table, Hydrogen does nothing in water, Lithium causes the viral it is in to explode, then you get into Rubidium,

  • @CubaEmbajTV

Caesium (which was inside the reactor at Chernie) and Francium which just 1mcg into just 1mm of water is enough to destroy 100sq meter area. Now in Reactor 4 you had 150KG (150 000 000 000 times more than 1mcg), so imgaine just 1mm of water (untreated) being hit by that caesium from inside the reactor. Now that is well hell of a big area. Baring in mind first explosion covered over 1 million SQ MILES and still 25yrs on the Reactor is still pumping out over 1000r and will not be

  • @CubaEmbajTV

completely safe for several hundred thousand years. IF it has happened in say Texas, it would of covered most of the USA and all of Mexico.

  • @ohgoditsjames94 They more that "risked" their lives...they lost their lives. Humans can be amazingly good in times of crisis. The other times...forget about it.

  • Thanks for the video, laughed so hard :D first work victory, first love... wait you forgot one more first...

  • the only thing that makes the earth collapse of dead is the human itself

  • he's dead jim

    he's dead jim

    he's dead jim

    he's dead jim

    he's dead jim

    he's dead jim

  • ...y valieron madre

  • It's not just those who died, it's all the millions of people who's lives were ruined by being evacuated or getting ill, and who's children's lives would be ruined with deformities and disorders for generations to come.

  • subs please?

  • it's eerie watching & knowing

  • Safety and oversight were not apart of Soviet vocabulary.

  • These old Soviet films are beautifully shot

  • A workers paradise!

  • yeah there's been WAAAY more than 50 people that died because of this. i mean WAY more. I wish people would do a little research before they speak out of there asses.

  • undertitles would be nice... it would be very interesting to understand what they say about nuclear power.

  • they had no idea a few years later it would kill them all

  • @MrDrNo1 it only killed fewer than 50 people mate, FAIL
