  • Shit, let's just go Methane, its simple and we have plenty of SHIT to go around !

  • The problem with using hydrogen as a fuel is that it is bonded with other elements. Pure hydrogen doesn't exist so it can't be used easily. It takes energy to break the bond.

  • Carbon burns too, brah. It forms the CO and CO2 gases and actually contributes the majority of the thermal energy. You only get carbon buildup if you (a) have a poor combustion process or (b) are running in the fuel-rich regime. Well maintained and lean burning engines can operate without carbon buildup.

  • "A scientist for Shell told me that the Sun burns hydrogen [...]" - see, that's why you shouldn't listen to oil companies.

The sun doesn't "burn" hydrogen, it fuses hydrogen atoms via nuclear reaction to create helium. There is no "fire" on the sun needing oxygen. There is no burnable oxygen around the sun.

This Shell "scientist" is a fucking moron. I'll call you one if you believe him.

  • Not everything needs oxygen to burn- a type of aviation fuel called 'avpin' is designed specifically to burn vigorously without the presence of oxygen.

  • excellent, thats good to hear, what do you use as an electrolyte, I heard a tiny bit of nitric acid would be good, what are your thoughts, on this, have you had a full system running on separate motor, what sort of results have you observed.

  • Then how do you propose to build an engine with the explosive mixture

  • Why dont you separate the gasses, then burn of the hydrogen, the oxygen can be used as a primer, or you can use the build up of oxygen as pressure to refill tour tank etc, all i see is bubbles and people exploding the mixture, the only good thing the gas is good for not separated is rockets, which wouldnt be a viable way to make a rocketanyway, unless you had to. the gas has to be separated, then you can use a carby to control the air fuel mixtures for an engine.

  • Hydrogen does not require oxygen to burn.

  • "Hydrogen does not require oxygen to burn."

You clearly have NO idea what you're talking about. 'Burning' is *defined* as the rapid oxidation of a fuel. Water is the *ASH* left over from the combustion of hydrogen and oxygen, and is *NOT* a fuel.

  • nonononono! your doin a dangerous experiment you are combining back the H and the O as we all know combining OXYGEN and HYDROGEN is a very dangerous one....take care INVENTOR! peace:P

  • How do you combine in electrolisis? Im new at this stuff I dont know. To me he's not making enough bubbles which makes it a lousy generator.

  • ur generating O2/H2 and not only H2, u dont seperate the gases from each other

thats makes every storage impossible (too dangerous)

  • is this better than the plate cell?!

  • For all those spliting water;

    -1kWh=860kcal

    -H2 combustion energy = 33811kcal/kg

-you need 8.9368 kg of water to get 1kg of H.The rest (7.9368 kg) is O.

    So,in 1kg of H2O we have 4.4 kWh of H.

Let the electrolizer work for 1 hour, weigh the water "evaporated", calculate electric consumption and then tell us...

  • Well designed and fresh to view.

  • How is this different than the JoeCell? Also I found a great website for all energy buffs at:

    PESwiki (Pure Energy Systems WIKI)

  • I Like your design, see you later.

  • alliedtaskforce dot net for hydrogen cell discussion. Also if you can download Ventrilo(VOIP program) and get a mic so we can talk in real time about this topic. Sign up at alliedtaskforce dot net, and get our Ventrilo info there also.

  • way too far apart the closer you put the electrodes the more efficient it becomes my systems run the thickness of electrical tape as a spacer!

  • Nice job on the tubes and the cell.

  • how many L per min production vs amps and at what voltage

  • have not done a volume test yet i will be working on that next running voltage is about 12 to 14 volts dc

  • The inner rods are welded to a plate on the bottom and the outer rods are welded to a plate at the top and the opposite ends fit into each other. I used a 12v gel cell battery and a 14v charger. This test was done with tap water but the cell was conditioned with sodium hydroxide. It was drawing about 9.3 amps

  • I really like your design! A great example of excellent workmanship! Are you using 304 or 316 stainless?

  • 316 stainless

  • Excellent! Even better chemical resistance!
