I came out of the cinema feeling cheated. The final battle between Harry and Voldemort should take place in front of everybody else, the death of a popular character was a huge explosion in the book, the fight between the two women looks like it was stuck on as an afterthought, Neville doesn't look like the hero he was in the book, and if they couldn't break the horcruxes by conventional magic, how was Harry able to break the most powerful wand of all time so easily?
Good movie, don't get me wrong. But deciding to split it into two movies, and then removing MASSIVE parts of the plot, and changeling the ending with the wand is incredibly silly.
@TotalMurloc Agreed, however, I think a lot of that chance to really expand on the plot was lost in earlier films by the amount of plot they cut from OOP on. For instance, they couldn't very well have Percy pop up again when they haven't even shown him since COS, or include the house elves when they were essentially completely ignored. I'm not so sure how Dumbledore's back story would've played out on film, it was kind of like they had to make some tough choices and did the best they could...

Great movie but they totally dismissed the Deathly Hallows itself don't you think? Nice review by the way.
