That was the extend of my knowledge about this piece. I have many favorites, among them Maye Naab ( it is over 15 minutes long, the version on youtube is just over 4). I am certain that you have heard all of the ostad's major work.
By searching 4 shared.com, you can find many of Banan's work. If you like send me a message, I might have some songs that you might like.
Unfortunately I am not a pro in communication through YouTube since on your comment on this Gole Golha you have nice stories and knowledge on other pieces that would be very unfair not to share with hungers of people like me. Dashti that if one of the branches of Shoor is very hard to sing
due to few 1/4 Pardeh and Ostad Bannan is the god of it.
Thank you paykar10. I was privileged to get a personal copy of the full version (almost 65 minutes) through Shahyar (presently in LA) the son of Mr. Ghanbarie from Golha department in Radio Iran when I was 12. I lived in this Masterpiece and will die with it but I never knew the involvement of Ostad Saba. Once again thank you that you completed me on this.
Thank you for posting. This is timeless. Rahi wrote this poem in mourning of Reza Majoubi's passing. There is a reference to Saba: Az Saba Hekayati Ze Roozegar Man beshno Baz-a. Rahi wrote this at a time when Saba was still alive.
The Avaz section was written by Ostad saba on a poem by Saadi, He called it Daylaman. Moreover the Chahr Mezrab( begins @ 5.30 and is repeated at the end) was written By ostad Saba, here this work belongs to Reza Mahjoobi based on his interpretation of Saba's work.
