  • Great archives that captures the time & memories of the places we lived in!! this brings nostalgia to my heart!! truly appreciate this!!

  • 167 Currently starts as river rd. heads to puyallup, crosses the river and becomes a freeway. It interchanges 512 and 410 and continues north.

  • Well, that's Tacoma all right - it's a bumpy sob.

  • I cannot believe u done this on Christmas Eve!

  • Awesome once again, Brent.

I think I saw this, but am not sure. Are the 24-hour HOV lanes divided, with a barrier? Or not?

  • Some parts are divided, but only when approaching certain overpasses. It was a good alternate to save money, as opposed to spending tens of millions to tear down, and build brand new overpasses.

  • Okay, thanks.

I think GDOT should do this. The only delineation between the general-purpose lanes and the HOV+2 lanes is double white lines, which are "double-broken," if you will, when passing isn't prohibited; however, many disregard them, crossing over the double white lines, which are the same as double yellow lines.

  • I never been to Washington State before. This vid is great. Do u have any vids covering Olympia? I would like to see that.

  • Yes, actually, I'm hoping to release my Olympia to Tacoma video soon! Expect I-90 to be released in a few minutes, probably followed by WA 520. I'll have a good 120 miles of I-5 featured on YouTube in the coming days.

  • Another Great Video , its a shame its mostly Rainy up there in the Pacific Northwest

  • Yeah, no kidding, and it's even a bigger shame when the weather forecasters promise mostly sunny skies!

  • They just want to keep there pay checks , only the people form the Weather Channel are trustworthy!

  • @Nexis4Jersey Well, it technically isn't as bad as people make it out to be. Seattle gets around 37 inches per year, much less than most of the East Coast (NYC, for example, gets more than 50, and "sunny" Miami gets more than 60), and on par with cities like Chicago. Granted, most of the Southwest gets much less rainfall than Seattle, and it is also true that it is cloudy and rainy for a significant part of the year, but comparatively Seattle isn't even one of the rainiest cities in America ;)

  • 5*/5*

You just need to record areas in Portland and Tijuanna and you'll be the Roadgeek King of the West Coast

  • lol, Portland area videos will be coming, soon, although I'll need to make a 2nd trip to Portland, as it was awfully foggy for most of the time I was there, last week.

All in all, I'll have most of the Seattle freeway network up on YouTube, in the coming weeks.

  • Puyallup, Federal Way... Who makes up those city names :)

  • Some are Indian Names , some are boroughs of larger cities are small cities.

  • Nice video, I see this is quite a distance from your usual video locations in CA. Do you travel to these other areas as part of your job or are you just passing thru LOL?Let me reccomend AARoads to you if you dont already know about it. It has tons of photos of highways in almost every state. There aren't too many videos though.

  • Ha, Washington State is nothing for me, considering I also have videos from Toronto, New Hampshire, Nashville, Memphis, and South Florida on my YouTube account.

I went up to the Pacific Northwest for 9 days, mainly to work on FreewayBrent, as well as to meet up with a few friends. Expect some British Columbia vids up in the next few days.

  • nice work here

  • Nice video, that section of I-5 looks a little like the Nashville area to me. It also looks like those construction projects you noted are much needed.
