I guess whatever points you miss out on in defeating enemies and whipping/stabbing candles as Grant is the time bonus you get at the end of the stage. It was interesting seeing how much faster you went through this stage than on your previous attempt.

I think it would be more accurate to say that I spent the earlier lives feeling out the stage a bit and after coming so far just to die, so I was in no mood to take so long just for it to happen again.

Usually if I get in that frame of mind, it's going to be short...usually a short trip to an untimely death, though.

Watching it again now, apparently Skeleton Soldiers are worth 300, Mermen 50, Bats 200, and White Dragons 0 points, although they can drop 100 point bags per bone segment.
