I'm not much into musicals but this one was simply awesome... I loved everything from Kelsey's change of emotions every 15 minutes until Jennifer's hairstyle :P Just the perfect mood for a Christmas movie imo :)

Good movie. I have seen dozens of versions of this story and have enjoyed all of them. I must say though, the best musical version is from 1970 starring Alerbt Finney as Scrooge.

Last year, while watching Frasier, I thought to myself, "Kelsey should play, at least once, the role of Scrooge. It's a role I'm sure he could handle well." What a joy to discover the film was available through the public library's inter-library loan system. I borrowed it and was well-pleased with Mr. Grammer's portrayal.

I got freaked out when they started saying the lines that I'm used to hearing when I perform this! I play Belinda Crachit. Ignorance and Want were played by 2 little girls and they use hairspray to make there hair stick up. LOL! I have the song that sp sings stuck in my head. watching this always makes me tear up slightly. I was part of the original cast (and I say part and that may be a slight exaggeration i was in one of the school choirs they hired to be the angels) so I remember hearing this song as we ran around backstage to find our places for the big "yesterday, Tomorrow and Today" scene.
