Apple's way of designing computers is simply amazing. Just take the iBook G3 and compare it to the PCs of its day. While the iBook is a glossy white, the PCs are very chunky and a dull gray. Apple has been and will always be ahead of the game. :)
I think the port in this laptop is more useful than newest MacBook Pro... But, just its speed that makes it is too old computer for me... But it is still one of great Apple Computer's products....
i've one of them too, i just posted a vid here on youtube. I owuld modify the title saying "powerboog g3 Wallstreet" it makes it easier to categorize all the devices :)
Can you do a hard drive replacement tutorial? the wallstreet is the only model of PowerBooks I have not replaced replaced everything on and know every inch of, other than the Duo 230 of course :)
My first computer was the one of the g3 series what`s came out the end of 2000 for about 3200usd , and i bought it for about 750 in 2004 or 2003 not sure still has it ... i love it , mine is the 500 mhz g3 cpu 256 ram ... etc of course , i have a pc 2 as well , but deffinatly , apple is just great as i am ... :D nice video , by the way
yeah the powerbook that you have is an apple powerbook g3 wallstreet. when they upgraded the powerbook they did small cosmetic changes on the laptop. they got rid of the colored apple logo and replaced it with a solid blue apple logo on the powerbook pismo. they also got rid of the small door on the side of the laptop where your ethernet is. i hope i could have been some help!
Unfortunately you cant install an Airport card on these models however, you may be able to get a third party card wireless card into the PC card slot on the side of the PowerBook, but I am not 100% sure.
Can u tellme how can i restore this computer.

question: can you install osx 10.2 on this as well? My powerbook g3 doesn't have the rainbow sign but i'm dead sure it's a powerbook g3.
Taking1n1 6 months ago
@Taking1n1 , no problem, if you put more ram (2x 256mb lowdensity) wallstreet (I and II) can also run 10.3/10.4 using xpostfacto.

I have the same one as well running Mac OS 9.1 - but the battery's dead. I'm hoping to spend some cash on it to make it quite useful ^^;
