As a drummer/conga player and a lover of the DOOBIE BROTHERS this is .... MY FAVORITE VIDEO !!! I PLAY IT JUST ABOUT EVERYDAY . The percussion solos were AWESOME! KEEP ON ROCKIN DOOBIE BROS!
@KarinjustKARINI I really don't know. But most people you see there, just like most of the people here in the UK, were fed a load of crap by the politicians and the media, telling them that somehow Iraq was a threat to the USA. If you want to know how that works, have a look at John Pilger's films, in particular "Breaking The Silence: Truth And Lies In The War On Terror". You'll find it on his website, free to view.
Skill, talent , charisma, not to mention one of the best songs of all time.
Show this to today's x-factor/pop idol "artistes" (Leona excepted) and they should all go hide in a large hole - talent like this takes YEARS of practice & hard graft, not 10 minutes on a prime time tv show.
This is indeed a legendary bit of rock history. Three of the Doobies featured in this video are no longer with us. May their spirit live on forever through their music! Rock on Doobie Brothers! Your music and talent are timless.
I have never been to a Doobie Bro concert I did many others but never got to see them live how nice is this. Thank you for posting brings back memories for .
Great live version. Proper players playing great music. This is what a lot of modern bands are lacking. I agree that a lot of modern music is good but has a very short shelf life, unlike a lot of older bands.
WOW. These guys are friggin' phenomenal. One of the best live versions of a song in recorded histories. Such incredible talent. They are so so so so together. Awesome.
