  • This version is quite simply amazing. Something for everyone across the entire piece!

  • Simply WOW !!11

  • @KarinjustKARINI I really don't know. But most people you see there, just like most of the people here in the UK, were fed a load of crap by the politicians and the media, telling them that somehow Iraq was a threat to the USA. If you want to know how that works, have a look at John Pilger's films, in particular "Breaking The Silence: Truth And Lies In The War On Terror". You'll find it on his website, free to view.

  • Yay! I've love this song for SO long and I didn't know who played it! :D

  • Oh pleeeaasee!!!! Where can I buy a DVD of this concert?

  • Dude, the percussions were awesome!!!

  • One of the best songs ever.

  • Oh hell yes!

  • One of the Dooble's best

  • Best version of LTR EVERRRRRR !!

Skill, talent , charisma, not to mention one of the best songs of all time.

Show this to today's x-factor/pop idol "artistes" (Leona excepted) and they should all go hide in a large hole - talent like this takes YEARS of practice & hard graft, not 10 minutes on a prime time tv show.

  • @IantaylorSnaithUK I agree,,,,that crap on fox or nbc or abc sux

  • Cornelius Bumpus is the man!

  • This is one song that don't need any covers. Doobies got it all covered already :)

  • Great live version. Proper players playing great music. This is what a lot of modern bands are lacking. I agree that a lot of modern music is good but has a very short shelf life, unlike a lot of older bands.

  • WOW. These guys are friggin' phenomenal. One of the best live versions of a song in recorded histories. Such incredible talent. They are so so so so together. Awesome.

  • @pcalk well, even at the best concerts, it take some time to start getting up & dancing. this song was probably played earlier into the concert. u have to have a good balance, ya know? play softer stuff early on & u bore the audience; play the awesome stuff early on & u use them all up. regardless, i dont think these people were in any way bored :D great performance

  • AMEN!!

  • This really is rather good.

  • wow, that's a Dean V at 3:38 ;)

  • let me tell u somthing......70s and 80s was the only real and good music...now is all digital....not live, or real....it may sound nice sometimes but......its never like ours..,,,,,,real

  • @juslove100 you are obviously a moron. For one, the 80s invented that digital sound that you hate so much. And how are you gonna forget about the 90s? Probably because your ego won't allow you to like any music that isn't 20+ years old. Remember this...ALL MUSIC IS LEGENDARY WHEN ITS 20+ YEARS OLD. Even the 90s and 2000s will be considered legendary. I know your one dimensional mind can't comprehend that, but its the truth. The 70's and 80's aren't any better than any other decade.

  • @Punkandfunk420 I wouldn't go so far as to prematurely predict patterns in musical trends. However, it's still safe to criticize the types of music that you don't have a taste for, if you can elaborate on your opinions. For example, popular music of the 2000's required little instrument-performance talent, but popular music of the 70s and 80s was superior because it often required improvisation within tight and complex grooves, thus showing more artistic expression and skillful musicianship.

  • @Danplaysdrums1 The music industry has been around long enough to develope a trend. And it is ok to criticize music you don't have a taste for...as long its constructive and you accept the fact that its sheer OPINION.

And music that hardly have any instrumentation is mostly rap. The thing about rap is they are SUPPOSED to have little instrumentation. And you say that instrumentation makes the 70s and 80s more superior, but thats not the only thing that makes a song. What about lyrics and

  • @Danplaysdrums1 song writing? What about the message of the song? There is so many different things that make up a song. And there is ALOT of instrumentation out there today. You obviously never heard of the bands Tool or My Morning Jacket. And have you ever seen John Mayor play the guitar? He plays with the greats like Eric Clapton and BB King and Buddy Guy. And what about ACDC? They don't have very difficult instrumentation. In fact they are known as the Kings of Simplicity.

  • @Danplaysdrums1 And you're forgetting, what about all the shitty bands from the 70s and 80s? Those decades, too, had shitty music you had to wade through. My last point is that while your knockin on the new generation of music, what about all the kids saying YOUR music sucks? Will you be condescending and stuck up, or will you acknowledge that its their OPINION? Whether you like it or not, the new music of today still defines the youth of today, just like your music did.

  • @Punkandfunk420 You speak the truth brother, every decade had shit music. Like the 80's synth pop, my god that was bad.

  • @TheStSilver Indeed it was my friend. But nobody even attempts to hold the 80s accountable for synth pop. People only remember the good shit. And the people who lived through the 80s won't bring up the synth pop. Why? Cause they want THEIR generation's music to thought of as the best. What's that all about? Its ego. And its no different for ANY generation. We all do it. For example, I sometimes talk about how great the 90s was. I bring up grunge music, but I always "forget" N'Sync lol

  • @Punkandfunk420 Words of wisdom !

  • @juslove100

Music is always made by the man, even with a computer... Enjoy!

  • @juslove100 I'd say mid 50's 'till mid 70's....

  • @juslove100 Real music still exist it just ain´t popular... sadly enough.

  • @TheJonasogArnar Well said. Today's good music isn't spoon fed like it used to be, you've got to put time into finding it. Unfortunately some people aren't able to separate the emotional factor of music from their past, good or bad, and therefore nothing will ever live up to it. Doobies are incredible, but there was a ton of shitty music from 70's too. :-)

  • @juslove100 yea, it was really a time of great music and great bands. The explosion and expression of ideas and new ideas, it was a time when you did what you felt was right, not for money or politics. The best modern bands and singers came from the 70s 80s. The music of today, sucks so bad, if they were in the 80s, they won't hit the hot 100

  • @juslove100 completly agree. im 13 and love the suff from real early jazz to 50's 60's 70's music. now its just elctro... i saw doobies in Bethlehem pa in 2010

  • Great Song great band luv the percussion bit thanks for sharing :)

  • How do I find this recording?!

  • one of the best live bands ever.

  • I am like a little kid again because they are coming to Ireland on November 3td to play in Dublin. I saw them in the early 70's play Knebworth on the bill with the Allmans and have seen them in concert many times since. But this 57 year old is 22 again and can't wait to see this great band play live again once more. Rock on Doobies and thanks for posting this great tune.

  • Masterpiece...

  • so whose singing lead here

  • f•ck yeah

  • The break is KILLER in this version

  • This is just pure and awesome rockin' right here. None of that digitally improved drivel you here nowadays. (with a few exceptions)
