oh, and yea. i have disected an electronic thing. it was a motion sensor tad thing. after i got through with it, it never croaked again.

I have dissected two laser pointers, a Tamagatchi, a Megaman PET, A Playstation 2, a Playstation 2 controller, an Xbox, my old computer, my current computer, a mouse, a few headphones, a Flashdrive, a USB plug for a wireless mouse, and a floppy disk. I can't say I ever really did any of that with a hammer, though. I normally prefer screwdrivers. :D
