  • If you liked Ceelo's Fuck You I just watched a UK remix of , it was really good. Type Ashby - Fuck You. Great Lyrics

  • She's just a chavvy bully that can't actually sing.

  • LOL love how this song was the topic of a French lesson!

  • @Micko842 how can u say that ethan if its true its not to say u can say things like that if u dont like dont listen to it XD

  • i love this song and i love you

  • what a real stuck up snob this one is, i think her and Nadine Coyle are the only two that dont seem to understand they dont function well outside of Girls Aloud, even so Cheryl is not doing to bad even though she does thrive on interviews with Pearse Morgan and cheap catchy tunes, still she's better doing that than living on a council estate!

  • Lovin Cheryl Cole!!! She is my fav britsh singer!! Sing for britain Cheryl!! YOUR MY ROLE MODEL

  • luv this song and luv u cheryl cole!!! xxxxxxxxx <3

  • 36 people dont know the meaning of music...

  • @simoon68 yes they do. not all people have to like pop music y'no...

  • shite!

    again!

  • so f***** addicting!

  • what does the allouete uete thingy mean??

  • @ilovebubblebaths1000 Alouette means lark. Deployer means unfold, l'aile means wing and plumerai means pluck.

So basically she's saying "Lark, unfold your wings" and "Lark, pluck your wings". I hope that cleared it up for you! : )

  • This song is great but upsets me in a way......

  • @TheFizzyLemon Ikr! Same here! I can't sing along to this song without becoming depressed in a way... :/

  • Um.. properly speaking one would say "LES ailes" and ailes is only one syllable :/

  • dont like the french bits, but i love the chorus D:

  • I could never work out the french because of the background music and the strange accent lol. Now I see them I can't see what he's talking about...

"Lark, spread your wings, lark, I will pluck your wings"???

What does it mean, I wonder?

  • @Implosion99 no its

    alouette uette uette - lark

    d'eployer l'aile - Deploy the wing

so basically Lark Deploy the wing

  • @PrincessDayDreamer

Thanks for replying, but "spread" is a much better translation. Also replacing "the" with "your" would make it sound better. The French will have been slightly changed to fit the song.

Anyway, I'm still trying to work out what she's referring to - this idea of a lark/bird

  • promise this if i die omg amazing thumbs up here we go awsome.

  • i hate ppl who put thumbs up in there comment THUMBS UP IF YOU AGREE

  • @ingridl72 you couldnt recognise ur own language?

  • @YoshiandWaluigi To be honest, I listened to this song again and again without knowing it was French, I realized it while watching this video...In fact, her sentences are incorrect and she has a weird accent. But I can not criticize her too much because my English accent is awful, so... :)

  • @ingridl72 ok...

  • I dont like her music normally but this is great

  • Great song and fantastic effort with the lyrics :D LOL

  • @VikingSanguine well what do u expect shes not french...

  • @Ravin2kx That's a weak argument, though. Many people who aren't French learn how to at least pronounce the language correctly. If she's going to make the effort to speak it, why not make the effort to learn how to pronounce it correctly?

  • @jessicagreenwalt ok lets see you singing the song with a french accent.. :l

  • I really don't like Cheryl Cole, but this is a catchy song.

  • @VikingSanguine its not supposed to be a french song duh

  • Amazing song! Lolz!! So basicly she says 'lark, lark, lark, pluck' that makes noo sence what so ever!! But anywayz, another amazing song created and sung by Cheryl Cole! :)

  • Does anyone seem suspicous about the ''alouette-ette-ette plumerai''?????

  • not to bitch or anything, but the french words should spel;

'Deployes les ailes' and 'Plumerais les ailes'

  • @MichaelDeery1 And also, if she is so crap, why is she this weeks number 1? Can't answer that, eh?

  • @lolgirl63 i do ! :L

  • i love the french bit, its so catchy, but all in all the song is great :) x

  • mimmed on x factor shes a liar and a cheat nadine way better singer cheryl is just jealous so she cries to simon never to let nadine sing on xfactor because cheryls carear would be over

  • @MichaelDeery1 I don't think she's a good singer as nadine, and tbh personally she annoys me, but this song is really catchy and even i really like it, so dont say these things on this vid, keep your opinion to yourself :)

  • @MrSophii i wont keep my opinion to myself it is my opinion so fuck up take ur own adice

I know she has it wrong but it's "les ailes".

You usually dont pronounce the s but she should...

LOL dont really wanna give a lecture.

    Thanks for posting :D

  • I love this songg Loveyou cheryll !!

  • she's brilliant and so what if she mimed on the x factor she pre recorded it. You still got to her what she was like singing it with out auto tune. And another reason her dancing was f''cking class so i dont know what haters problems are.. xx

  • lol, her french is really bad but its a really good song :)

  • she mimed thru some of her rigorous dance routines

  • class or wat

  • class or wat

  • I love this song its amazing ! :)

  • if you listen to the lyrics to thins and 'bang bang bang' they're pretty much the same. i'm not saying this is a bad song, i'm just making an observation.

  • So basically she is singing lark-rk-rk-rk ... then deploy wing, then agagin, then pluck wing.

    OKAY!

  • Didn't really like this song when i first heard it but i LOVEEE it now <3 <3

  • shes exlint

  • LOL shes AMAZING!!

  • @ShockinLaura yes it was lol

  • really love this song, but theres one thing niggling away at me because I'm quite pedantic :P one of the lyrics says 'what its came to be', but it SHOULD be 'what its come to be'.

  • i LIKE cheryl.... but this is really bad, c'mon can no one see that....

  • what does the begining bit actually mean ???

nice song this is her best one

  • @ohsosweetdd Alouette plumerai = "lark (a type of bird), I will pluck you."

I think it's from the French nursery rhyme "Alouette, gentille Alouette", and Mark Ronson uses the same line in the chorus of Bang Bang.

    Hope this helps.

  • @torn520 déployer l'ailles = spread your wings :)

  • @torn520 ohhhhh kool thx this really helped u rok...

  • I think cheryl cole is cool. Although people think that she recorded this one hour before x factor and mimed it in the performance. Even so its very good singing and it makes sense since you can hear her breathing. She is a good singer anyway.

  • I respect cheryl Cole.... shes a credit to Britain

  • actually like it :/

  • i love this song :P

  • @ShockinLaura

Sorry to say but it was mimed - she reckons she has to mime or she can't dance. What i don't get is why everyone makes such a big deal out of Britney Spears miming (and she dances waaay better and puts on a much better show) but just because Sheryl's British it's allowed????

  • @RaWilder never ever call her 'sheryl' again.

  • @RaWilder I agree on the whole everone makes deal of Britney miming..but 1) Cheryl didn't mime on the X Factor. and 2) Cheryl is an amazing dancer.

  • What happened to real music?

  • I think 18 people missed the like button

She is Clazz who wouldnt like her

    Love ye cherl

  • Oh wow she put French bits in it? Get the fuck over it she's not gonna go change the song and take out the French bit just for you guys.

  • what does the french part mean?

  • @PurplexRibbon Alouette means Lark or Skylark and she is basically saying Lark deploy the wings, lark spread your wings. L'ailes means wings

  • Coool

  • To all the people saying this is about her fight for malaria: it's NOT cuz this was written and recorded before she went to Africa, ok? And it's not about Derek either, they were apprantley never together "/
